A/N: Before I start this chapter I would like to shout out to @SencenFoster07 for being my first follower and for just being an amazing writer in general.

Tedros lay in bed next to Agatha. He knew something was wrong, even though he acted like he didn't. Only strong minds could prevent the time shifting spell from working on them. Luckily for Tedros he had a strong mind. Tedros knew now that Agatha's dreams were in fact real, so for the safety of his wife and his unborn child, he pretended he was none the wiser. What he didn't know was why Agatha didn't tell him herself. Which left Tedros to conclude that since Agatha usually told him everything that someone was forcing her not to tell him.

Tedros stroked Agatha's face and then rested a hand on her stomach. Agatha had been through so much, and it pained him to see her so exhausted. But was him being there really any help? Sometimes he thought I wish I was a bit more like Hort. He always knows what to say. Tedros tried to think of ways to signal to Agatha that he knew, but he didn't want to put her in danger.

"Tedros..." Agatha said in her sleep. "Tedros...protect...baby" she spoke again. Tedros pulled her up into a sitting position then shifted her into his lap. He stroked her head until her breathing returned to normal.

"We're gonna work through this." he said lovingly to his sleeping wife.

Hester and Anadil's P.O.V

Hester gazed at the black diamond engagement ring on her finger. She thought about everything she had shared and planned to share with Anadil. She thought bacl to their first year...

"Ani!" said Hester beside herself in giggles.

"Ready..." said Anadil teasingly "set..." she laughed again "GO!" she dropped the bucked of spiders on top of Hort's head.

"AHHHHHHHHH!!" Screamed Hort as he attempted to brush all the spiders off his torso. He squirmed and jittered trying to shake off all the '8 legged demons' as he liked to call them. "Oh Anadil you'll pay for that one!!" he yelled. He chased after Anadil who skirted round a corner and fell write into Hester, who was pushed over the banister! "Hester!" shrieked Anadil. "I'm so sorry!"

"Since when do you say sorry?!" Yelled Hester, dangling in the air. Anadil blushed and it was the most red Hester had ever seen the albino witch.

"Just don't let go!" shouted Anadil.

"YEAH NO FREAKING WAY!! LIKE THAT THOUGHT HADN'T CROSSED MY MIND!!" Screamed Hester, desperately trying not to panic but failing.

"Ohhhh no!" said Hester. "Ani!! Ani I'm slipping!! Help me!"

"Do you trust me?" said Anadil, looking Hester dead serious in the eye. Hester hesitated. The one thing Hester had learned from fairy tales was never trust anyone. But as she saw Anadil's face sweating from anxiety about her friend hanging off the side off a banister she knew she was safe.

"Yes" Hester said tentatively.

"Give me your hand!" she said urgently. Hester put her hand in Anadil's and screamed afraid she would fall the long distance to her death. But she didn't. Wincing, Anadil pulled Hester up with all her strength and flopped her over the other side. Hyperventilating a little, Hester kissed Anadil.

Hort came through the door and said "Guys I heard screaming-" he grinned seeing them break apart quickly. "Heyyy" he said grinning like a clown "what'd I miss?"

Present day

Hester laughed thinking of the memory. How stupid they had been back in school. And now she was engaged to who she thought was the most amazing witch in the woods.

"Hi" said Anadil walking through the ginger bread door to their cottage. She through the candy cane keys onto the counter and tumbled onto the couch next to Hester.

"Hey Ani" said Hester. "I was just thinking of that time when we were kids and we pulled that spider prank on Hort"

"Umm Hester...which one?" she laughed "We pulled so many spider pranks on Hort." The two lovers snorted in giggles. They were so in love, it was beautiful. It seemed like they were the only couple in the woods free from problems. Hester got up to check the post before frowning and sitting back down next to Anadil.

"It's from Tedros." she said. Anadil frowned to and Hester tore open the envelope with the golden Camelot seal.

It read:

Dear Hester and Anadil,

I know I don't write to you guys often, and I would only do it when it is absolutely necessary. I need you to come to Camelot. I would tell you in a letter but I'm worried it will get intercepted. Please, this isn't for me it's for Agatha.

Kind regards

King Tedros of Camelot.

Hester and Anadil shot up. Anadil ran upstairs to pack bags and Hester wrote back to Tedros explaining they were on their way, and to send a carriage.

Soon enough, they were on their way to Camelot.

Agatha's P.O.V

Agatha couldn't stop crying Tedros was gone. She clutched her stomach praying that her baby was safe. Melody appeared on the balcony, although this time she seemed more transparent. She had sent a phantom of herself.

"Agatha" she said smiling her evil grin. "I see the baby is nice and healthy. But that is not why I am here. Agatha, you are not to leave your palace you will stay exactly where you are. I repeat do not move. I have sent some people to meet you. Presumably they will ask where Tedros is. You will say he's gone to get a healer. When everyone has arrived I will join you-"

"Where's Tedros?" Agatha asked grief stricken.

"You want to see?" Agatha nodded. Melody moved the perspective to show Tedros in the background being beaten to a pulp by very large, muscular men.

"IS AGATHA OK?" Tedros yelled at the men.

"Melody! Stop!! Leave him alone! You promised he would be ok!"

"No Agatha. I promised that Tedros would not be stabbed. As long as you fulfilled your portion of the deal. I see no baby. And now in your future I see no Tedros."

"NO!!" Agatha screamed.

"I promise that should you sign this contract your king will survive." Melody handed Agatha a slip of paper. Agatha read it again and again. Melody wanted her baby. The beautiful baby that Agatha had never seen yet knew would be gorgeous inside and out. How can you miss someone you never knew? Agatha asked herself. But Agatha had known this baby. It had been growing inside her and she had formed a connection with it that no one would ever understand. Without looking Agatha signed the contract and handed it back to Melody. She felt like she had just given away half of her heart and she knew nothing would ever take its place.

Melody vanished. It was a brief return.
