Lilith had been foiled by that house demon again, the being named " Hooty" still finding ways to avoid her attacks and spells. Her dark hair now had twigs and leaves sticking out of her hair, her face displacing grimace as she grumbled quietly. She couldn't help but keep trying to figure out how to convince Edalyn to join the coven. As she kept trying to understand her sister's strange decision, she heard a soft noise near the river. She grabbed her staff and eyed that direction cautiously before quickly moving forward. Following the soft sounds she found the bay of the river, looking around before seeing a red clump of hair poke through some cloth. She calmly used her magic to create an orb around the cloth and pull it close. She gasped seeing the source of the red fur, a small humanoid infant. She looked around before gently moving the cloth to reveal the child, the orb disappearing as she held the infant in her arms. It's fur was red, a red similar to Lilith's hair in her younger years, it's fingers felt similar to hooves as it flailed its arms. She stayed silent as the infant unintentionally smacked her cheek, freezing before touching the witches cheeks as it looked curious and confused. It took a moment for Lilith to realize why, it's eyes were grey, a gray that matched smoke and fallen ash. Lilith kept looking around, trying to decide what to do about this defenseless infant. She looked at the baby and sighed, " You're an orphan, aren't you? Hm, perhaps I can raise you until the right guardian comes to raise you." The infant tilted it's head before reaching out to her, slightly kicking the air as it looked at her blankly. Lilith held the infant close to her chest as she positioned herself on her staff before flying, spooking the small infant as it looked around and buried it's face into her chest. Lilith was surprised it chose to hide rather than cry from fright but gently shushed the infant, keeping a close eye on the small baby.

Kikimora was the first to see Lilith with the small infant, tilting her head slightly before she spoke, " What is that, Lilith?" Lilith didn't look at the small demon, the small infant moving and almost kicking the cloth off, " I found this infant after that house demon thwarted my attempt." Kikimora stayed silent as it looked at the child, " Why did you bring it here? It's of no use to us if it is a beast or a lost child." Lilith looked at her, slightly agitated, " It was in a river, I doubt it is lost and I'm not heartless, I'm not just going to let a child freeze to death or starve." Lilith left the demon without another word, quickly walking to her bedroom and gently putting the infant down on her bed. She sighed and sat down, " What am I going to do with you?"
