FORGIVENESS

Chapter 2

Amy was sitting in silence on her couch,waiting and thinking about the incident she went through hours before.

It was dark outside,time was running slowly.She felt guilty about earlier,even if she knew that being mad cannot stop Sonic.Later she realized that SHE couldn't stop Sonic.

''I have to tell you something."said Sonic,staying straight in front of Amy's door.

"I'm all ears!" Exclaimed Amy,letting him go in,but he refused.

He looked sad.Maybe because he knew exactly what Amy's reaction would be,but he still wanted to try.

"Ames,I have to go.And I know you will get mad at me or something,but this situation was inevitable.Silver needs me in another dimension,his house is being destroyed and as a hero I need to go and help him."

"Can I come too?"

Maybe it was better if she came.Later she would wish that she begged him more.

"I'm sorry.I'm going alone."He sighed and tried to avoid looking at her.He knew what her reaction will be.

"What are you talking about?I am pretty capable to take care of myself.Do you know what that means?That ME and our friends NEED to come too.Why are we fighting Eggman daily?Just so when we really need to do something important we can't go?"

"It's not like that.It's dangerous."

"If it's dangerous,then why are you going?"she asked,and raised up her cute little nose.

"I have to!"he tried once again.But the mission was unsuccessful.

"I understand that you are the hero,but what if something happens and I'm not here to protect you?"

"You can't protect this kind of situation.And nothing is going to happen.I'm Sonic the hedgehog!Who do you think I am?Sticks?"

Those words punched Amy is the face so many times.This time,she was angry.

"You know what?Go,go and do whatever's on your mind.I tried to protect you,but who am I to stop YOU?You will never listen to me,my opinion isn't important to you and it will never be.Go and save your planet,if it is more important than me for you,mister hero."

She turned so he couldn't see her red and pissed face.

"Okay Amy,okay.That's what I was born to do,to save people.I knew that you will never understand me,and that's okay.I'm going,even if you agree with that or not."

Those words and the sound of the slammed door punched Amy's heart. She should've been more understanding,maybe if she was she could've make him take her in that dimension.

Now,she was still waiting for him to come.Nothing.No news,no calls,no messages .Only a scared pink hedgehog overthinking on her couch at three am.

She wished to change the way she acted.She was the one who made himgo and fight angry.
She let a tear go down her red cheek but then immediately wiped it.She wasn't crying really often.This time,she had a reason to defy this rule.
