Chapter 9

"Good morning,Amy!"she heard a voice from her room,entering the kitchen.

"Good morning,Kay."She responded and smiled.

Somehow,smiling for Kay was easier by time.She didn't seem surprised,but still,in her heart,she was proud of herself for smiling.

"What are you doing?"He asked,and sat down on a chair.

"I'm making breakfast."

"Cool."he said and stood up.

"Do you mind if I go to explore the house?"

"It's okay.But if someone knocks at the door,you have to come here."

"Okay!"

He ran to her room.Amy was still wondering if she could tell her friends about Kay.

"What would they say if I tell them that I rescued a boy in the ravine after I planned on ending my life,and then I dreamed of Sonic telling me I should keep him?

Of course it would be bad.

"But..What if i hide him from them?"

Then,she looked at the little boy.He was really sweet.He was playing with some plushes she had,on the couch.

"I think I'm going to keep it a secret for a while.I don't want to explain them how he got here."

"Breakfast is ready!"she exclaimed,and Kay showed up really fast.

"Wow!Are these waffles?Thank you so much!"

"You're welcome!"she said,and took a waffle.

Amy stared at it.

"I promised."

And then she realized something.

"Kay?Do you mind if I ask you something?"

"Ask me anything!"

Amy tried to get enough courage to talk about Sonic,somewhere in her little heart.

"Umm,do you happen to know a..A blue hedgehog,that...Umm,he had green eyes,and always wore a bandana...Ah and he was taller than me!His name was Sonic."

He smiled.

"Of course I do!He saved my life!Is he your boyfriend?"

Amy started blushing.He was.

"Umm,why are you asking?"

"He talked about you.That's how yesterday I trusted you to take me to your home.He described you so well!"

Amy stared at him.This little boy was so incredibly intelligent!She didn't want to show the little boy that she started to feel emotional,but her eyes lost the game.

"Could you please tell me what he said?"

"Well something about how much he loves your eyes.He said that you are the most perfect person in this big world,and he knew that he can trust you to take care of me.Something like that,yes.I was scared because of my father,and he was there for me."

"Kay,you can't-"

She heard a knock at the door.

"Shhh."she whispered.
"Stay here,don't be scared.Imma explain it to you later.Hide here,behind the wardrobe."

He nodded.

Amy ran to the door.She opened it and saw a worried Tails.When he saw her,his face became brighter than ever.
