Chapter 8

The nightmare.Again.

Amy was tired of her life.It was a completely mess she couldn't escape not even in a million of years.She was trying hard stop herself,but her legs were guiding herself to the place she wanted to end her story in.The ravine.

The moon was beautiful that night.It seemed to follow Amy's steps,begging her to stay here.
But she couldn't stop.Millions of thoughts were whispering in her ears,telling her to do it.Even if she didn't want it.

It was a hard battle.Even the battles with Shadow were easier than this one.
When she could've seen the cliff,she slowed down.

"Do it."someone whispered in her ear.
"No one will cry..Nobody will even notice."

She didn't want to end her life.It was hard.A half of her wanted to stay alive and the other half wished death for a long time.When she got here,life stopped.

One decision.The fatal decision.
What would it be?

She looked back.She could see her friends there.Begging her to stay.

"They will never cry.Do it for your Sonic!"someone whispered.

And then she looked at the ravine.There wasn't Sonic.She tried to look for him,but instead of the blue hedgehog,she saw someone else.

Exactly in the place where he died,there was a child.A child crying.He seemed to be a 4 year old.
She tried to look for his parents.

"Strange.What would a baby do all alone here,during midnight?"

She found somewhere in her heart enough courage and curiosity to check on him.

"STOP!Where are you going?"she heard the voice again.
"GO END WHAT YOU STARTED."

But she ignored it.She was getting closer and closer to the little baby,yet she could hear who he was looking for.His father.

"Hello?"Amy said and sat down behind the baby.

She always loved children.She used to wish for one badly.

When the baby noticed her,he stopped crying and stared at her.

He looked really beautiful.He had some beautiful green eyes,his fur was dark blue,and he seemed to be a wolf.He also had white strands.

His long tail started shaking as he happily screamed.

"MAMA?"

"No,no,no!"she smiled.
"I'm not mama!"
"Mommy!"he said once again and hugged Amy tight.

She couldn't resist it.She instantly started loving the little boy.But it wasn't that easy.What if his parents will look for him?

"What are you doing here,little buddy?"

He looked straight into her eyes and placed his little hand on her cheeks.

"My daddy left me here.He said he was tired and he left me here."

Amy was angry.Who could do such a thing?

"Since when are you staying here?"

"Since the sun went back home to the other planets!"He exclaimed with his hands in the air.

"Oh my little buddy."

She tried to find an idea.She couldn't just take a random child home.But,what else could she do late at night?

"What if I take you home with me?Tomorrow we will find something to do."

"YES!Thank you...Umm."
