Yeah, so, I decided to make a book all about BDSM and different kinks. This is for beginners, who don't know much about the lifestyle, differences and all included kinks.

Voyeurism is the practice of gaining sexual pleasure from watching people who are naked or engaged in a sexual activity. Not only that, but also actions which are usually considered to be of a private nature.
Meaning, if you were voyeur (the person who has this kink), you'd enjoy seeing people doing either sexual things alone or with their partner, or just doing private things.
The term "voyeurism" comes from the French voir which means "to see".
You may even let your partner be penetrated (with their consent) by another person, and watch them. Or you ask a couple, who are okay with this, if you can watch them.
Only a kink ?
No, actually. Voyeurism is not only a kink, but can also be a disorder.
The disorder is called Voyeuristic Disorder.

Not all Voyeurs have this disorder, but there are some who have it. This Disorder involves getting easily distressed or people become less able to function well, and some other symptoms.

Voyeurism is a form of Paraphilia. I explained the term in the earlier chapter, so it shouldn't be unknown by now.
But if you don't know: Paraphilia is the experience of intense sexual arousal to atypical objects, situations, fantasies, behaviors, or individuals.
Many Paraphilias are also linked with disorders, but this will be thoroughly explained in the chapter after this one!
Treatment:
The Voyeuristic Disorder was supposed to be healed or treated with the so called shock Aversion Therapy, Psychoanalytic and psychotherapy; But all these approaches have been attempted with limited success.
There is, however, some evidence that shows that pornography can be used as a form of treatment for voyeurism/voyeuristic bahavior.
"Additionally shifting voyeurs from voyeuristic behaviour, to looking at graphic pornography, to looking at the nudes in Playboy has been successfully used as a treatment. These studies show that pornography can be used as a means of satisfying voyeuristic desires without breaking the law."
Any warnings or tips ?
1. Always do this with Consent! Consent is very important, not only with kinks, but also in everyday situations.
Wether it is watching them secretly, or engaging in a sexual activity with them.
2. Discuss limits, safewords and other important things.
3. Don't be afraid to voice your opinion or concerns regarding your partners sexy fantasies! If it's not for you, don't force yourself!
4. If you want to spice it up a bit, maybe add a role play. This way, you can pretend and/or create your own fantasy. ('Pretending to watch a stranger jerking off secretly', for example. You know that both of you consented, so it's perfectly okay)
