Robin and y/n boarded some of their belongings onto a jet. y/n consoles a sad Raven.
y/n: Hey, it'll only be a couple of days tops okay?
y/n moves a strand of hair behind her ear, she takes his hand.
Raven: I know, but I just... I just want you back safe.
y/n: Come on, what's the worst that could happen?
She ponders this and lets go of his hand, acting like she's about to do something major. However she decides against it and playfully punches him in the chest.
Raven: Just come back in one piece, I won't be there to fix you.
Robin: y/n, time to go.
y/n nods.
Starfire: Good luck friends!
Beast Boy: I hope you find your parents!
Robin: While we're gone, Cyborg's in charge.
Cyborg: YES!
Titans: WHAT?!
y/n chuckles before boarding the shuttle with Robin. The door closes and the Titans wave. Raven stays rooted for the ground for a good ten minutes, wishing he were already back with her. On the shuttle, Robin and y/n strategise.
Robin: So how are we gonna find the people you saw in your dream?
y/n: We should go back to the hospital. Where I woke up.
Robin nods and sets the course for Massachusetts. A little over three hours later they arrive and walk up to the hospital.
Robin: Okay so, what now? We're at the hospital, where do we go from here?
An ambulance pulls up and two men rush out with a convulsing patient. y/n collapses as the people in his dream replay themselves in his head.
Woman: We died together.
Robin: y/n! y/n, you alright?
Robin helps y/n up and holds him up.
y/n: I think... I think we need to follow that ambulance.
Robin: Right...
Robin embeds a birdarang into the ambulance's side.
Robin: There. Now we can track it and we won't be in a hurry about losing it.
y/n: Alright... we're looking for a ginger woman and a black guy.
Robin stares at him.
Robin: I don't think you understand how little that narrows it down.
Two grapples wrap around Robin and y/n's chests. They look at each other in shock before being pulled through a wall. They get up and see two assailants. One is clearly a female, she had a slightly chubby figure but was by no means unfit. The other was a very skinny male. Robin and y/n looked at each other, sharing the same thought.
Robin: y/n... they're wearing your armour.
This was true, they were wearing black variants of y/n's white armour. All three however shared the blue and orange accents. The female pulls out a staff and the male pulls two daggers. Robin nods at y/n and walks towards the woman, pulling his on staff. y/n taps his wrists and two shields pop out of his wrists.
