Chapter Nine

After a very uncomfortable dinner sitting opposite Zayn and Perrie we finally left and everyone decided to go up to the top of the sky tower. I was about to walk into the elevator when Harry caught my arm and softly pulled me back.

"Why don't we catch a different one." He suggested and I nodded, relieved. I was just glad I didn't have to share a ride with Zayn and Perrie. It was messing with my emotions way too much.

Harry pulled me into the nearest elevator and as soon as the doors shut he pushed me up against the wall and kissed me. I was thankful that we were finally alone because after that first kiss, I had been craving his lips on mine again. We wasted no time in exploring each-other's mouths, knowing that the elevator ride could only be so long. My feelings were going crazy as he pushed himself closer to me, pressing his body to mine. I felt a certain bulge starting to form and I quickly stopped kissing him.

"Harry, slow down." I said laughing like mad as he looked at me, unsure of what was wrong.

I pointed down and he saw what the problem was.

"Sorry, I er, sorry." He said as he took deep breaths and looked out of the window.

I was still laughing when he was back to his normal self.

He walked over to me and tickled me until I screamed out for him to stop. He stopped and grinned as he looked me up and down.

"What? Why do you have that expression on your face Harry?" I asked curiously.

"Just erm, you might want to fix your hair." He said with a smirk.

"Why? What's wrong with it?" I asked touching the top of my hair and finding it in a huge mess.

"It er, it looks like you've got sex hair." He said awkwardly helping me straighten it down.

"Oh my god Harry! And the doors are going to open any second!" I said quickly getting my comb out and trying to run it through my hair.

"This is so your fault Styles! You're gonna get it later!" I said as I brushed a few tangles from my hair.

"Yeah but what am I going to get?" He whispered. His lips teasingly close to my neck. The doors opened and I stood there breathlessly as he left me standing shocked in the elevator.

My hair was fixed and I put my comb away before walking out of the elevator and going over to one of the windows. The view was spectacular, Auckland lit up at night from this height was still one of my favourite views.

Zayn walked over and stood awfully close to me. His black leather jacket brushed against the bare skin of my arm and I breathed in the scent of his strong cologne.

"Hi." I said simply. I was confused as to why he was so close to me but one thing I knew for certain was that I missed talking to him.

He breathed in a big sigh and looked out at the bright city lights. I looked anxiously at his face, searching for something, some kind of emotion and not finding anything.

Seriously what was his problem? He couldn't even bring himself to look at me now?

I walked away and headed towards the bar where the rest of the boys were now sat. I wondered where Perrie was for a second and then I realised I didn't actually care. There were no seats at the bar so I made the bold decision to sit on Harry's lap. He was pleasantly surprised and pulled me closer, cuddling me before whispering, "Hello Beautiful."
