Why did you hurt
My precious heart?
Why did our happines,
Soon become something that
Would that would tear
Us apart?
Why can't I make you smile?
You're not hearing me cry;
You're covering your ears,
I can't get through to you no matter
How hard I try.
Don't you see my shattered heart's
Broken pieces all over the floor?
My smile has been turned upside down,
I can't live like this anymore.
If you want to ignore me
I won't stop you;
This pain inside me,
Shows me enough pain that
From a friendship that's
No longer true.
But I still need you
Please don't leave me this way;
Don't let this pain in me,
Make us start to slowly stray.
Away from each other
You're all I need cause I don't
Even know why;
Even as I write this poem down,
There are tears flooding my eyes.
Please don't ignore me
Please don't leave me all alone;
