It hurts so much saying
Goodbye to what you loved
So much with your heart;
It hurts knowing that
The void that was once filled,
Has now fallen apart.
The past can't be erased
The damage has been done;
What hurts the most,
Is knowing that the happiness
From long ago,
Is forever gone.
There's no turning back
I can't go on living anymore;
She's out of my life,
My beautiful rose that I once adored.
So I'll sit here in this dark corner
Of eternal sadness & heartbreak.
Crying an endless rain;
What becomes of this now
Torn up soul?
I can't stand this pain.
I made a big mistake
Betrayed a love that was held
In my hands;
But it's gone into winds of change,
And I stand here...a broken man.
I want to scream and shout
But the words just get choked up;
I'm all alone...I smile but inside
I'm alone,
The love of my life and I...broke up.
