I tried to have a good day
But in a matter of seconds...
It all came burning down in flames;
Now the guilt haunts me
And heart hurts too much to care,
Infected am I with shame.
Tomorrow will not come
Clouds of sorrow will block out
The sunshine's warm Rays;
I tried but I failed to stay positive,
Someone take my pain away.
I tried & I tried but I kept
Making mistakes one after the other;
What do I do now?
There's nothing more I can do,
I'm sorry...this is the end.
I tried but I failed
Goodbye...my suffering ends here;
Carry me down the aisle on
That final day,
Let the rain hide your tears.
