Chen Yu's smile is like pure sunshine. He places a hand on either side of Gu Wei's face and kisses him tenderly. Gu Wei wraps his arms around Chen Yu's waist and deepens the kiss, turning the Officer's insides to liquid fire. On a ragged breath, Chen Yu finally manages to pull away.

"Don't be naughty Doc, you need to eat something... else." He adds with a smirk. "Are they releasing you now?"

"Baobei, my shift isn't over yet. I promise to head straight to the cafeteria and grab a bite." Says Gu Wei, rising from the bed.

"Oh, I know you will. I'm going to go with you. Don't give me that look, you haven't eaten in over twenty four hours. I'm making sure you get something decent inside you." Chen Yu's not arguing.

"I've recently had something decent inside me, several times in fact." Gu Wei says giving a wink, as he passes the dazed Officer to walk out the door.

"Mmm, you're killing me Doc!" Chen Yu whines, as he follows him out the door.

After grabbing more than he can possibly eat, at the coercion of Chen Yu, Gu Wei finally takes a seat at a table. He watches, as Chen Yu takes the seat across from him and he can tell there's something on his mind.

"Spit it out already, what's on your mind?" Gu Wei says, as he digs into the fried rice Chen Yu insisted he get.

"Well, I have a question about my case and you're a doctor. But I don't know if this is actually good dinner conversation." Chen Yu grimaces.

"Go ahead, I'm happy to be of help. What's the question?" Gu Wei says, taking a sip of his iced green tea.

"Well, is there something that can render a person unconscious for a period of time? Perhaps even wiping part of their memory?" Chen Yu asks, scratching his head.

"Sure. Rohypnol, it's also known as a date rape drug. Wait, you're working a rape case?" Gu Wei shudders.

"Doc, can this drug be mixed with coke?" Chen Yu's mind is starting to race.

"Sure, it can be dissolved in any drink." Gu Wei says, thinking to himself.

"No baobei, not that kind of Coke. I'm a drug enforcement officer." Chen Yu grins at him.

"Oh, ohhh. Yes, I don't see why not. It's generally a powder itself." Gu Wei is cut off, as Chen Yu quickly pulls out his phone.

"Can you rerun the tox screen looking for something specific? Yeah, I've got an idea. Rohypnol. Yeah and let me know when you have the results. Thanks." Chen Yu takes a deep breath, as he ends the call. He reaches out to hold Gu Wei's hand. "Baobei, I think you might have just given me a lead in my case. You're my good luck charm."

Gu Wei just grins and continues eating. "You should help me with this, you got to much! If I eat all of this, I'll have to be rolled out of here." He pouts, as he spears a spring green bean with his chopsticks.

"Baobei, you're to thin anyway. Sometimes I worry I'll break you." Chen Yu smirks, as Gu Wei blushes.

The pair spend nearly an hour chatting and eating. Suddenly, Chen Yu's phone rings.

"Hello? Results are back already?" He holds his breath. "You're kidding, I was right? Can we trace it? Alright, I'll be there as soon as I can. Thanks." He looks across the table at Gu Wei and the excitement fades. He doesn't want to leave him. His brows crease and his lips pout.

"It's alright, I need to get back too. I'm fine and I've eaten. It's ok baobei, go." He reaches over and runs his thumb up and down between Chen Yu's creased brows, smoothing them out.
