Addicted to You

Long Vacation?

   Gu Wei is in his office, sitting on the corner of his desk trying desperately to regain his composure before Chen Yu arrives. He hears footsteps approaching the door, but they stop and Chen Yu's angry voice is heard.

"Where the hell were you?! I could have your fucking badge for this!" Chen Yu shouts at the Officer outside Gu Wei's door.

Chen Yu yanks open the door and see's Gu Wei sitting on the edge of his desk biting his lip. He closes the door and engages the lock, taking a calming breath before turning around again. But his newly regained calm is shattered, as he see's the tears threatening to fall from Gu Wei's eyes. That pained expression breaks him and he quickly crosses to Gu Wei. He flings his arms around him and crushes him in an embrace that has the tears falling and Gu Wei's body shaking from his silent sobs.

"Oh God, baobei I'm so sorry. I'll nail this bastard to the wall, I swear it!" Chen Yu swallows a lump in his throat, as Gu Wei clings to him and tries to regain his composure once again. "You must be terrified, what did the bastard do? What did he say? Did he hurt you?!" Chen Yu pulls back, trying to check Gu Wei for injuries, but he only shakes his head.

"No." He squeaks out, then clears his throat to start again. "No, he didn't hurt me. He made some veiled threats and some unveiled threats." He shakes his head again, a look of disgust on his face.

"Alright, let's sit and you can tell me everything." He pulls Gu Wei towards his chair behind the desk, but he clings to Chen Yu. "It's alright, I'm here now. I'll need to record this so I can write it up later." He soothes, but he ends up backed into the chair. Gu Wei sits across his lap and circles his arms around Chen Yu's neck. Chen Yu takes another deep breath and gently begins to stroke Gu Wei's spine. He takes out his cell, starts the voice recorder, and sets it on the desk. "It's alright, I'm here. No one can get near you when I'm here." He croons softly in Gu Wei's ear.

"Just hold me baobei. He really gave me the creeps! The first thing he said was..." Gu Wei shudders and tightens his arms around Chen Yu. "He could see why you're so smitten with me." He swallows back bile, as he remembers the look on the man's face. "He said it's to bad I'm not a woman, he'd just take me away from you."

"Hmm, as if I'd allow that either way." He tightens his arms around Gu Wei's waist and raises his brows. "I know you didn't let that go, what did you say?" He kisses Gu Wei's cheek and rubs his back again.

"I told him either way, there's nothing he could offer me that would make me leave you. Then he said..." The bile is back, along with a lump. He swallows hard before continuing. "He said if I value your life, I should get you to back off. He'd hate to see me alone."

"Baobei, if you want me to..." He's cutoff by Gu Wei's suddenly vicious glare.

"No. I'm scared as hell, but you can't back down. Think of those young women he's hurt. If you don't stop him, how many more will there be? He's afraid of you, which means you must be close to the proof you need. You can't backdown now, for the sake of those women and the people he's murdered, while trying to cover his tracks. We'll be more careful and the Officer, you can't blame him lao gong. I stupidly thought I was seeing a stabbing victim. I sent him for coffee, it's not his fault. I thought the patient would be more at ease without a cop hovering." He sighs and rests his head on Chen Yu's shoulder.

"Alright, I won't skin him alive, for you." Chen Yu drops a kiss on Gu Wei's forehead and unknowingly begins to rock him. "I need to step out for a minute and make a call, will you be alright?" He asks, concern etched into his brows.

"Mmhm, I'll need to get back to work soon anyway baobei. Just..." He shifts and straddles Chen Yu. He pulls his face up for a greedy and smoldering kiss. "Just be careful, please."
