CHAPTER 10 - CAN YOU STOP?

Danerie's POV

I knew it! The eyes, nose and even his body built are so much a like. I was so shock napatakbo nalang ako ng wala sa oras. I was going to hug him and tell him that why didn't he say it sooner but my feet and my mouth did the opposite! Holy cheesecake! Why did I say those words to him? I didn't mean to! I'm so shocked! I don't want to say those mean words to him! I want to say sorry.

He's so cute wearing that wig, if di ko alam facial features ni Vee hindi ko din siya mamumukhaan. Napaface palm nalang ako dahil alam kong mag-ooverthink nanaman si Vee bakit ko siya tinakbuhan. How can I go back if I'm stuck here at the convenience store. Ang lakas ng ulan, napatitig nalang ako sa labas habang iniisip si Vee. I really can't believe it! That's why there's a towel in their bathroom with his in game name printed on it. I can't wait to go back when this rain stops, wait for me Vee!

"Ho? Ano pong nangyari kay Vee tito? Sige po tito, Papapalit ako ng pwesto dito sa kasama ko!" tarantang sabi nung cashier dito sa convenience store.

Bumilis bigla tibok ng puso ko nang marinig ko pangalan ni Vee. What's with him? Vee? Anong nangyari? He's panicking. While looking at him I suddenly remembered that his one of Vee's friends. Eson right?

"Um sir, if you don't mind meron kasing emergency we might close the store this early." he said.

"Kaibigan ka ni Vee diba? Are you talking about Vee awhile ago? What happened to him?" I asked. Kinakabahan ako.

"Oo, wait-- diba ikaw kasama ni Johnmar nung isang araw?" sagot nito habang kinukuha ang kaniyang gamit.

"Y-yes, what happened to Vee if you don't mind telling me." I asked while my hands are shaking.

"His dad saw him at their front door unconscious, he rushed him at the hospital. Papunta ako ngayon ng hospital." he said and rushed at the door.

I stopped him and said "Can I come? I'm worried about Vee's condition."

"Bitaw, bilis! Double time! Need ng kasama ni Tito!" he said.

Napabitaw ako ng wala sa oras dahil sa pagsigaw niya sa akin. Alam ko namang nagru-rush siya kaya hinayaan ko nalang. Sinundan ko lang siya, habang nakasunod sa kanya hindi ko maiwasang isipin ano nangyari kay Vee. Is it because of me? What happened after I runaway? Sinabunutan ko sarili ko dahil sa frustration. I'm going to hate myself if something serious happen!

"Sasakay ka ba o iiwan kita diyan?" he seriously asked.

I immediately hoped in dahil baka totohanin niyang iwanan ako. I stared at the window and I can't keep my composure. My hands are still shaking, mas lalo akong kinabahan ng biglang magsalita tong kasama ko.

"Relax, malapit na tayo." he said.

"I'm Mark by the way, you can call me Eson." he said while looking at the rear view mirror.

"Danerie." I tried to smile at him but I really can't.

"Is this your first time? Vee is always at the hospital though." he said while focused at the drive way.

"Always? What do you mean?" I asked.

"We're here." he said completely ignoring my question.

Dali-dali siyang bumaba at dumiretcho sa may front desk.

"Where is it this time?" tanong niya sa medical receptionist.

"Room 720, you can use the elevator."

"Let's go." pag-aaya sa akin.

Nagpasalamat siya sa receptionist at dumiretcho na kami sa may elevator. Habang nasa elevator tinanong ko ulit si Eson about dun sa sinabi niya kanina pero ang sagot niya lang sa akin ay "Ask Vee".
