CHAPTER 5 - SETTLED

What am I gonna do?! I knew it! I already predicted this situation! Helpppp! Somebody, anybody. char! Ano ipapalusot ko kay Danerie? Hindi siya pwede sa bahay. I can't with this stress. Matatapos nalang nga sa college magkakaganito pang problema, ano pwede palusot?

Urgent Palusot Plan A:
1. Hindi pwede sa amin strict ang parents ko.
2. Ginagawa pa bahay namin, maingay din dun lalo na kapag nagtatrabaho na yung mga construction workers.
3. Pwede naman sa inyo, pauwiin niyo nalang si Edward.
4. No thanks, ako nalang gagawa tapos explain ko nalang sayo.

"Hey, you still there?" tanong netong katabi ko ngayon na nakasalumbaba sa arm chair ko, nag-iisip pa ako pwedeng ilusot para di mo lang malaman sikreto ko! Hmp.

"Pwede lumayo ka muna, at bakit na sa bahay niyo si Ed? Sa inyo siya nakatira?"

"Temporary lang naman, wala pa siyang mahanap na condo na matutuluyan. Lemme rephrase that, wala siyang mahanap kasi tinatamad siya maghanap."

"Oh, okay kung gusto mo ako nalang gagawa nung presentation tapos explain and ibigay ko nalang yung parts mo." pag-aalok ko sa kanya. I've crossed my fingers wishing that he'll say yes.

Plan No. 4 always saves me in this kind of situations lol.

"That's not fair Vee, I know you can do it on your own but kaya ko naman din tumulong. As long as I can, please allow me to help you." he said while pouting.

Damn that pout! Wag moko simulan, di mo ko madidistract!

"Please? Gusto mo ba akong lumuhod para payagan mo kong tumulong?" he was about to kneel--

"Fine! Pero hindi tayo pwede sa bahay. Find another place." I sighed, never talaga masusunod gusto ko sa lalaking to. He always win against me.

"Yes! Thank you Vee. We can do it on our condo, papalinis ko ngayon. Kakahiya naman kasi sa bisita ko. Looking forward to work with you Vee." he was about to hug me pero napigilan ko siya bago niya ako mayakap. Why so aggressive Danerie? Buti nalang mabilis reflexes ko.

"So clingy lately Danerie ha, let's do our presentation on Saturday tapos tapusin na natin sa mismong araw na yon para wala na tayong gagawin ng Sunday."

May scheduled battle ako ng Sunday, I can't postpone that lalo na sa labas gagawin yun. I wonder who will be my opponent. Whoever it is, better prepare because you're going to face the Queen.

"I agree, may gagawin din ako sa Sunday. Anong oras mo gusto? Want me to pick you up?"

"Thanks but I'm fine sabihin mo nalang address, magcocommute nalang ako." I'm an independent woman! I don't need a man to help me. Char! Pero baka magbago isip ko, pilitin mo lang ako Danerie.

"Sure ka? I'll just text you the address then. Pero kung nagkaproblema I'm just one call away." taas babang kilay na sabi niya. err--

"Then it's settled. This Saturday, on your condo. 9 o'clock don't be late Danerie nako sinasabi ko sayo." time is gold. Mas maaga mas mabilis matapos. More time to play games!

"Yes ma'am! Dun ako matutulog ng biyernes para hintayin nalang kita dun."

It's already 4 o'clock in the afternoon when I suddenly realized meron naman pala silang condo, bakit hindi niya dun muna patuluyin si Ed habang naghahanap siya ng malilipatan? Jusko Danerie ang dali-dali lang nung sitwasyon kanina pinahirapan mo pa ako!! Grrr.

"Okay class, dismiss. Don't forget about your presentation next week, I'll be rooting for you guys. Have a great weekends!"

Presentation huh? I looked outside so I can distract myself. Shoot! It's raining, I forgot to bring my umbrella. Sa sobrang pag-iisip di ko na napansin na umuulan na pala. I feel so calm while staring at the raindrops falling through the window. Water is dripping out from the roof. I still remember the day I want to become a raindrop. Lame right? But when a raindrop falls in to the lake there's no identity. It became part of the lake, but when a raindrops falls into the lily pads, lotus or leaves it shines like a pearl. We need to choose the best place we can shine the most. Thats also the day I dreamed of being able to do what I want without any restrictions.
