I woke up this morning feeling as energy-less as possible, I stretched my arms and looked out my window to see the warm sun come out brightening up my lazy mood. Hm perfect London weather. Still, I managed to climb out of bed, freshen up and head to college. Surprisingly everyone was asleep so I skipped my breakfast sneakily and headed out as quiet as possible.

If dad had been awake, I'd definitely be in a load of trouble. I looked down at my outfit with guilt in my small pocket mirror. Yup I was wearing red.
"Too bright" "attention seeking"
Ugh I just didn't understand why he thought that way. It's not like I was wearing a crop top. Instead, it was a cute red dress simple and elegant, modest and not over the top for college.

By the time I reached lesson the teacher had started the register. I said a quick hi to Dean and continued quietly with my work.

A loud chatter noise caught my attention so I turned around to see my class mates laughing at a silly note written on the table.
Wow I thought to myself. The girls screechy laugh was way funnier than what must have been written on the table. I turned around and decided to doodle in my book until the teacher realised, as they all huddled around that one table. In this lesson I didn't know many of them in my class apart from Dean so I preferred to mind my own business.

"Hey, wanna join us?"

A shadow leaned over my desk forcing me to look up

"Um hi, no thanks" I said trying to lightly brush it off. Unfortunately my introverted shy personality made it hard for me to have much confidence. I preffered to stick to my already made friends group whom I trust.

A few seconds past but the shadow didn't move, I looked up again to see him looking at my little drawings and doodles.

"Wow that's pretty cool. I like to draw too. Are you an artist?"

"Thanks Um I try to be I guess"
I smiled brightly at the compliment but still tried to cut off the conversation, although I am an artist. This time I looked up I noticed I hadn't seen him before in class. He was tall, thin and had a pair of glasses which coincidentally matched his black and red outfit.

"Oh lovely, what's your name? I'm Isaac 19 years old"

I mentally cursed in my head as he continued the conversation. Ugh why I thought but he was just being nice...?
However, that was soon to change when I realised his real intention.

I smiled and replied
"It's Haniya, some call me hanny.. I'm 17"

Unfortunately, he didn't seem satisfied with my answer. I followed his gaze to see him trying to read my ID card around my neck.

"Haniya Shezad" he read aloud
"Bengali? Indian?"

"Nope Pakistani" I corrected amused at how everyone seems to think I'm Bengali at first sight. I remembered getting frequently stopped by Asian ladies who thought I was Bengali and tried talking to me.

"Won't you ask about me?" He replied tilting his head to meet eye contact almost leaning too close for comfort

"Oh yeah.. sorry where are you from?" I slowly leaned back in my chair to create some distance
