(A few weeks later Haniya's parents are back from Pakistan)
"You're talking with Dean aren't you!"
"Huh..?"
"Don't act confused just because I went Pakistan YOU THOUGHT YOU could do ANYTHING and I wouldn't know"
His voice raised and my insides began to trembleNo not again please. I breathed hard and took a stumbling step back
"How can you believe that? What are you talking about. I've been staying away from him ever since that time"
"You're a disgrace. This family is being ruined because of YOU. DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA WHAT YOU'VE DONE"
"I haven't done anything I promise I wouldn't be so stupid to. Ever since my auntie last accused me I stayed away. Who even told you this?"
"Whoever told me it's none of your business but just know that I have proof of it"
"How can you have proof when I haven't even done anything. Why don't you believe me. Why am I being accused?"
"Don't think that I don't know what you've been up to. You young people use social media didn't you"
"Yes! Yes I did but I didn't hide it I told mum about it"
His voice grew louder
"NO you decided to take advantage of the fact that your parents weren't home. You little fool. And then you spoke to him. I was told about it"
"Oh my.." The words were unable to form out of my mouth and my eyes became teary.
I knew exactly who was behind this but what hurt more was betrayal. Once again from my closest people. At that moment revenge was all I could think about but I had been taught better then to do so.
A flame relit inside me as I looked straight into my dad's eyes
"You're listening to Auntie Neha aren't you. She's been telling you all this and you believe her. Bringing up the past for no reason"
He looked surprised for a second but faded back to anger.
"You and him had something between you didn't you!" He said menacingly
My mouth opened in shocked and my heart completely shattered.
"H..how could you say that?"
"I know everything. Trust me I know"
Nothing was worse then my dad's ruined relationship with me. He never looked or spoke to me the same way again after auntie Neha and a few of my cousin's blew toxic words into his mind.
I was mind blown at the fact that a year later they were still trying to destroy any little bit of happiness that could come my way. I fell to the floor screaming in to my hands to silence my cry. Once again they succeeded in haunting me. It hurt more then words could explain. More then my weak, red and swollen eyes could show.
With the last strength I had I lifted my trembling hands for Dua.
"Kill me... If that's better for me then this torture, kill me. I'm not afraid. I'm not running from my pain. Rather I'm running out of reasons to carry on. Forgive me Allah"
