Finn

Eu entro no quarto e não posso deixar de sorrir para a cena diante de mim. Lá está minha linda Rachel, dobrando as roupas de Hope, enquanto canta e dança. Ela está deslumbrante e eu não posso acreditar que ela é minha. Eu ouço Hope gorgolejar contra meu pescoço e eu olho para minha linda garotinha, que está me encarando de volta com olhos idênticos aos meus.

Rachel recebeu alta do hospital alguns dias depois do nascimento de Hope, e as últimas semanas tem sido de experiencias e aprendizado, enquanto nos adaptamos a rotina de pais. Por sorte, fomos abençoados com uma bebê adorável, que não gosta de manter sua mãe acordada até tarde da noite.

- E agora, temos uma nova música para vocês. É a música Over, da banda Flammable, que está em seu novo álbum, Songs of The Heart.

- AI MEU DEUS! – eu assisto enquanto Rachel corre até o rádio e aumenta o volume.

- É do álbum novo? – pergunto, fazendo-a notar minha presença ali. Ela apenas sorri e balança a cabeça, animada.

Quando a música termina, Rachel se desfaz do meu abraço devagar e caminha até o rádio, desligando-o.

- Eu não sabia que eles lançariam essa primeiro. – ela encolhe os ombros. Sento na cama e sorrio orgulhosamente para ela.
