The next day Jane was supposed to meet the band. She was pretty excited to see the other band members. She made herself some breakfast and went to Uni. After Uni she went home, took a shower and quickly put on some makeup. She almost missed the bus that would take her to the rehearsal room of Queen.

When she entered the room, she was greeted by Freddie with a warm hug. "It's so nice to see you Jane!", he said showing his crooked teeth. "Let me introduce you. So you already know John. This is our guitarist Brian and that's our drummer Roger", he pointed to the tall man with the voluminous, long, black curls and the a little bit smaller man with the long, blonde hair.

Brian nodded to her and Roger welcomed her with a smile. "Guys meet Jane our new makeup artist, if everything works fine", he added. "Nice to meet you Jane", Brian said and shook her hand. "Nice to meet you too, Brian", Jane smiled.

"Makeup artist huh? What is going through that messed up head of yours again, Freddie?", Roger asked. "Well since we don't just want to make music but also set a sign, I thought we'd go a little more glam", Freddie explained.

"Oh please tell me I don't have to run around in spandex!", Roger said worried. Jane laughed about that thought. Freddie rolled his eyes. "Of course not silly! Now don't be a bad host and show Jane where she can sit!", he said.

Roger laughed it off and went over to Jane. "Sorry for not introducing myself properly. I'm Roger Taylor", he said shaking her hand. "Jane Lauren", she answered with a smile. "Now please you can sit over there", he said pointing to a red sofa. Jane nodded and took place.

The others got ready to play and they started with their first song. Suddenly not only Freddie was singing but the whole band was. Jane was a caught off guard by the situation. How could a whole band be so talented in not only playing instruments but being amazing vocalists at the same time?

"This is special", Jane thought. "This is gonna be revolutionary! I have to find a way for working for them. I could never deny such an opportunity. Besides that Freddie is a sweet person and could possibly become a very close friend of mine. All of them are nice actually. Specially that little drama queen of a drummer made me laugh. Yes I will do it. I will work for them".

When they were done with the song, Jane stood up, applauding loudly. "Wow that was incredible!", she marvelled. "Really guys that was fantastic! First of all, Freddie you have the voice of an angel! Second of all when you all started signing it was over for me, I fell for your voices. And third of all damnit Roger how do you manage to sing that high?", Jane said stundend.

Roger laughed nervously and scratched the back of his neck. Freddie clapped his hands in excitement. "Thank you darling I'm so glad you liked it!", he said smiling from ear to ear. "That's it, you got me. I'm officially your makeup artist". Freddie jumped over to Jane and hugged her tightly. "I just have to look how I can manage my other job and my uni".

"I'm sure you'll know what to do", Freddie said. Jane nodded. "Welcome to the team, Jane", Brian said friendly. "Thanks", Jane said blushing a little in excitement. "Oh how about we go and have dinner together after the rehearsal?" Freddie suggested. "That sounds great!", Jane said since she really wanted to get to know them more. The others agreed as well.

So they went to a nice restaurant in London. During the dinner, they talked about their ideas for their first album and many other things. Jane couldn't remember when she laughed so hard the last time. The chemistry of these guys together was just great and hilarious. After they had finished dinner, Jane had to run outside to get her bus but she missed it.

"Damnit!", she cursed. "Bloody bus driver can't wait another second!", she said angrily. "Need a ride home?", a voice asked. She turned around to see Roger. "I could take you home. Since your bus isn't coming in the next hour I assume.", he said. "If that's no trouble for you, I'd like to. Thanks", she said a little shy. Roger nodded friendly and guided her to his car. "Hot cart", Jane said impressed. Roger smiled surprised. "Thanks", he said still surprised. They set down and started the car.

"Where can I drop you off?", he asked. "221B Bakerstreet", Jane said, hoping he'd get the joke. "Very funny.", he said and Jane giggled. "Sorry. I live in 248 Kingsway". Roger nodded and turned on the radio. A song of the Rolling Stones was playing.

"I love that song!", Jane whispered to herself. "Wait really? Me too! I absolutely love the Stones!", he smiled excited and turned up the volume. "Same! I saw them live once! That was one hell of a concert.", she told him. "That sounds awesome! I haven't had the chance to see them yet but I shall soon".

The whole car ride they talked about their love for the Rolling Stones until they arrived at Jane's flat. "Thanks for the ride, Roger.", Jane said when she stepped out of the car. "You're more than welcome", he smiled friendly. "I'll see you around", she said and closed the door. She still heard how Roger left her door. "He seems nicer than I thought", Jane said to herself.
