It was easy for Jane to calm Roger. She knew ways to do it that nobody else knew. And it always worked. So the next day was pretty chill. The gig was great and Jane was refreshing Freddie's makeup for an interview. They were talking about their first crushes.

"What about you Jane?", John asked. "My first love was a gorgeous girl named Fiona. We were together for 2 years and broke up because we simply lost interest.", Jane said and smiled a bit on that memory.

"Excuse me. Girl?", Freddie asked. "Yes a girl. I am bisexual", she said. All of their eyes widened. "Sorry. That means?", Lucy asked. "It means I can love both. Men and women.", Jane explained. "Sounds hot", John said and Jane rolled her eyes at him.

"That's exactly what I said too", Roger whispered to his friend. "I heard that!", Jane said and they giggled like little children.

Nobody noticed Freddie's concerned look when Jane explained all of this. He felt weird. But he had to pull himself together for the interview.
The next day Freddie immediately went over to Jane after having breakfast. "Jane my darling I really need to talk to you!", Freddie said and pulled her to the side.

"Uhm yeah of course. Is something wrong Fred?", she asked. "Yeah actually a lot is.", he started quietly, not sure how to start this conversation. "The thing you told us yesterday. You know about being bisexual.". Jane nodded. "It made me think. About myself. And I- Uhm I'm not sure how to feel about it. I have a wife and I love her more than my own life but I seem to have some weird feelings towards men. And this is driving me insane", he said with tears in his eyes.

"Oh Fred no please don't cry", she said and hugged her best friend. "There is nothing bad about being bisexual! If you are, then it's totally fine. There is nothing to worry about. I know it's weird at first but you'll get used to it", she tried to calm him. "I know but I have a wife and I'm scared that the feelings I have towards men will get stronger", he said and wiped away his tears. "Fred. If she really loves you, she will understand."

"It's not about that. It's about me being unsure of myself. I don't even know who I am anymore", he said desperately. "But I do. You are Freddie fucking Mercury and you are the frontman of a badass band called Queen. You are a loving husband and wonderful friend and the biggest diva I've ever seen", she said and Freddie laughed a bit. "Thank you Jane"
She smiled. "Anytime"

"Oh I forgot to tell you something", Freddie said and went to get the others. "Guys I have a wonderful idea for our next album. We all have ideas and the tour is almost over so I thought we'd go to a beautiful recording studio in England. It's on a farm, as weird as it sounds. But it's very nice there and we won't get distracted so easily. I already talked to the owner and he said it wouldn't be a problem. We'd all get our own rooms and a kitchen. Until the album is done. So what do you say?", he said excited.

"That's a very cool idea, Fred", John said. "Yes I think so too!", Brian meant. "What do you say, Rog?"
"Well it sounds good but....I don't know", he said unsure. "Roggie don't be silly. It's a great idea!", Jane said. Brian and John giggled. "Roggie?", John asked and Roger rolled his eyes. Freddie grinned. "And Jane can come with us of course. Since we know she has an angelic voice, she could fill up some harmonies"

Jane looked at Freddie with a small grin. "It would be an honour", Jane said and bowed down. Freddie looked over to Roger, who as grinning widely. "But you two we have a rule. We all need our beauty rest. So keep quiet, if you know what I mean.", he said and winked.

Jane turned red and Roger looked at Freddie with a 'seriously' look. "So does that mean we're going?", Freddie asked excited. "Yes, yes it does", Brian said and they all nodded.
Freddie clapped his hands. "Excellent"

After they had played the last few gigs of the tour, they were on their way to the Ridge Farm Studio. When they arrived, they were greeted by the owners. "Oh we didn't know someone would join you we-", the woman said but Roger cut her off by saying. "It's fine we'll share a room". The woman nodded and showed them to their rooms. The first few days were very fun and chill.

One morning when Jane went out of the little house they slept in to go into the kitchen, she heard loud noises coming from inside. It seemed like they had a discussion. Freddie joined her on the way. "Morning love", Freddie said. "Morning Fred. What is going on in there?". He shrugged. "I guess we'll have to find out". So they went inside.

"I put my heart and soul into this song", said Roger who was cutting the bread. "No one is in dispute of that", John said sitting next to Brian. "And you don't like because you want your songs on the album", Roger said and stopped cutting. "It's not that, Roger", John said. "Then what is it?", he asked slightly mad. "I'm in love with my car.", Brian said and John nodded understanding. Roger looked at them in disbelief.

"Maybe it's not strong enough?", Brian said. "What do you mean 'it's not strong enough?". "I know we're late, what did we miss?", Freddie said when they came through the door. "Discussing Roger's car song", John explained.

"Is it strong enough? That's all I'm asking. If I'm on my own here, I apologise", Brian said. "How does your new song go then?", Roger asked, sounding mad now and grabbed Brian's notes. "You call me sweet like I'm some kind of cheese", Roger read out loud sounding unimpressed.

Brian nodded. "It's good it's-", he said but was cut of by Roger saying: "wow". "With my hand on your grease gun?", Brian read out of Roger's notes. "That's very subtle".

"It's a metaphor, Brian!", Roger hissed. "It's just a bit weird, Roger what exactly are you doing with that car?", John asked. Jane had to giggle quietly on that. "Children please. We could all murder each other but then who would be left to record this album?", Freddie then threw in.

" statistically speaking most bands don't fail, they break up", John said. Roger looked away in annoyance. "Why would you say something like that?", Freddie asked and also Jane looked concerned now. John pointed towards Roger. „Roger there's only room in this band for one hysterical queen", Freddie said and walked out of the room. "You know why you're angry, Roger?", Brian asked. "Why?"

"Because you know your song isn't strong enough", he said. "Brian!", Jane hissed from the wall she was leaning on. That was enough for Roger to throw a slice of bread at Brian. "Is that strong enough?", he yelled. Brain didn't care anymore at this point because he was so used to Rogers tempers. "Rog come on", Jane said. He didn't even look at her.

"How about that?!", he yelled and grabbed the coffee machine to throw it. "NOT THE COFFEE MACHINE!", John, Brian and Jane screamed at the same time. Freddie only heard the sounds and could imagine how things went in there.
