Amane x Kagaya

A young lady was sitting on one of the benches at the Ubuyashiki Mansion. She will have to marry the former heir of the family.

Amane watches the beautiful nature and smiled. She always loved plants and trees and it's a good thing this place have them.

She need to marry the man promised to her.

She really want to marry a guy she will love. She want to pick who she'll marry but it's a family tradition and she don't want to ruin it for selfish reasons.

Kagaya is the man she'll marry. He's years younger she heard he's just 13?

He's so young

At his age, he should be enjoying his childhood and not marrying unknown girl. She wonder how he feels about this.

She sighed. "Miss Amane! Your father is calling you. " She looked at Marie and nodded. Marie is her personal maid and a friend.

We arrived at the mansion's dinning room where a lot of people are inside. She roamed her eyes around and spotted a male child.

Is this him?

"Amane! Come and sit beside your fiance. " Her father said energetically. She bowed then went to the sit next to the kid.

The kid is looking at her gently and she couldn't help to get red. By appearance, you won't realize he's just 13 because he's kind of tall and muscular.

"Dear Amane, this is my son Kagaya. He's going to be your husband. " The beautiful lady said while smiling.

She looked at the kid again and he's now staring at her. She quickly looked away. She's not good at making eye contact.

She nodded her head. "After this dinner you should hang out and get along with each other. " Her father suggested and the kid's parents smiled.

"Great idea! "

The dinner went smoothly without her looking at him. She's embarrassed. She's already 17 and she'll marry a 13 years old boy?

The people who they eat with went to their homes. "We'll leave you two now. Please get along. "

They both bowed and walked away.

They are walking at the garden located at the back of the mansion. No one wants to talk.

She scanned his appearance once again. He's years younger yet we have the same height.

Am I really that small?

"Do you want to marry me? " He opened a conversation. She doesn't know what to respond. She kinda does.

"I don't know. " She simply answered. The male smiled. "Probably 4 years from now, I'll get sick and you'll have to take care of me. Do you like that? "

She stared at the ground. She already knew about that since her father told about her marriage ever since she was little. He always mentioned that the man she'll marry will get sick at the age of 19 or so.

"To be honest. if I have a choice, I want to pick the guy I'll marry. I want my freedom to choose but this is a very important tradition that I don't want to ruin because of my own selfishness.

She looked at the male waiting for his reaction. He just keep smiling gently.

"What about you? Do you have a say about this arranged marriage? " She asked.

"Like you, my parents told me I need to marry someone at the age of 13. They always remind of that every since I was 4. I also don't care about choosing my own wife. It's a very important family tradition as well. "

She nodded as reply.

The atmosphere is silent and it's becoming awkward. "I do really find you beautiful. "

She gasped at his statement. She felt her cheeks heating so she bit her lips. "I feel the same. But a lot of guys use that sentence 'I find you beautiful because no woman is born ugly' thing. "

He laughed huskily. "Your the second woman I saw. And I  can already tell your beauty is different from any normal girls. "

She pouted to hide her blushed cheeks. "I already seen a lot of good looking males at my age but no one seems to caught my attention. "

He smiled. "What do you think of me Amane?"

She gazed at him. "Your very handsome and looks matured at your age. " She answered honestly.

"Males at my family get sick at the age of 19 and die at the age of 24. They wanted to trick the curse by dressing a male child a female outfit. And by the age of 12 to 13, they will have to marry the girl promised to them. Including me. "

"So, you were taught to be matured at a very young age? " She asked and he nodded as reply.

"When we get kids, we have to teach them to be matured at a young age as well. And if we had a son, he'll have to be dressed as a female until he's 10. "

She didn't say anything.

"How many kids do you want to have? " She asked while slight blushing. "I want at least 4."

She nodded.

Can she carry 4 children?

"Kagaya-sama! Amane-sama! It's bed time! " Marie called.

They bowed to each other and went to each others room.

By tomorrow morning, she will become one of the Ubuyashikis.

"This marriage isn't that bad at all. " She murmured.
