CHAPTER-7

DEVYN VOZENILEK

I slowly opened my eyes, only to get closed after opening, sun rays falling on my face directly, I sighed and stretched my body, strolled towards window, I lit up my cigarette, kept my cigarette between my thumb and index finger after taking a puff, I released it slowly, the view from the window is beautiful, I can see clearly the rising of sun without any hindrance, my personal jet is moving so fast tearing up all the clouds, it is such a long flight in my lifetime and I hope it will worth my time.

I decided to take shower, in a few hours we will land in India so that for a success party me and dad are going to India. He is really enjoying this flight as if we are going for a vacation. I don’t have time for these, tons of work has to be finished before we land.

I’m standing in front of my wardrobe, a towel wrapped around my lower waist, I heard a door knob twisting sound.

Devyn- I turned around to see my one of the air hostess walking swaying her hips.

Confident? I asked with a smirk and started walking towards her.

Air hostess- I’m certain! said biting her lower lip.

Devyn- Now I’m standing in front of her and leaning in. Do you know what will happen when you flirt with your boss?  

Air hostess- I know you need a release, she said with a smirk.

Devyn- I straightened and said really? Do you think I will touch a bitch like you? She opened her mouth to say something but I said You can have your termination letter after landing and don’t come in front of me for the rest of the flight, if I saw you it would be the last flight in your career.
she ran away as if her life depended on that run!

Don't come to the conclusion that I am a saint person or something. Even if it is a quick fuck I won't do that with my employee, I did like to keep it in a professional way, bad luck for her!
I stepped outside of my room, in casual wear.

Dad is having his morning coffee. I wished him good morning and went to make my irish coffee. I like to make my own coffee. I took a seat opposite to my father and started to discuss some business simultaneously working on my laptop.

We were going to land in a few minutes, I fastened my seat belts and turned to see my nervous father. He was still nervous even though he used to travel by plane!

Now we are going to The Leela Palace. The chauffeur opened the door for us. The weather is too hot. In the middle of our journey to the hotel, I got a call from an assistant, saying there is an emergency. I informed dad that I have to go to Stark's office. I asked the driver to stop the car in a nearby café.
I entered the café and sat near a window. People were looking at me as if I’m an alien. A boy came to take an order, I ordered espresso and called my security to arrange a car.

A white Lamborghini huracan stopped at the entrance of the café, after paying my bills, I hopped on my car, I reached my dads office, all employees stopped whatever they were doing and greeted me, I nodded my head as a acknowledgement, went towards private lift and pressed 49th button, lift door opened.

Suddenly I pulled in a warm embrace, I hugged her back.
Mrs. Anand I missed you.

Mrs. Anand- someone seems to remember this old lady…. She said with fake hurt.

Devyn- how can I forget this beautiful aunt of mine?

After talking with her,  for some time we got into the business. It's the first company for my dad, he built this on his own without anyone’s help. We have some loyal employees here because of them only we are staying there without any tension about this company.

It’s already time for me to leave. I bid bye to Mrs. Anand and hopped in my car. They said it's a one hour drive, but the traffic is cherry on the top.

I’m really exhausted, because of the lack of sleep. I got a call from my dad, parking car. I attended the call, dad asked whether I left the office or not.
Devyn- dad I left the office, I got stuck in the traffic and GPS is also not working properly, I think, Iost the way. I said irritatingly.

Benjamin- Devyn party will start in a few minutes, wait ……. Ughhh what happened why he is not responding?
I’m on alert mode.

But I heard some muffled noises, then I heard my dad talking to someone calmly? Did he forget I’m on the call with him?

Finally my dad remembered me! He said, he will ask someone to pick me. I replied, maybe I can manage.

I heard a girly voice coming from the other end, talking with my dad softly.
If you don’t mind, may I know what happened or we can go to my father, he is also working here.
My son seems to have lost his way and he has to reach here… and it's already late. Could please help him with directions? I felt a sudden urge to meet that girl and I couldn’t hear properly. This made me frustrated.

“Tell me the damn address already, I don’t want to stay in the road for the whole damn night” not being able to hear or see that girl's face, I shouted on the phone. The voice which I was eagerly waiting to hear asked where I was. That voice ignited something in me, I replied “middle of the road” like a fool. I hit my head with my palm.

“Yes you can drive your car on the road only because you can’t drive it in the air”, that girl replied nonchalantly.

This girl is really something, she asked me the street name, I told her. She started instructing me, I followed it, I have to say this, she is really smart, she gave me instructions in an understandable way.

At last, I could see the hotel from a distance, so I disconnected the call saying I can continue from here.
