(A very short drabble from Donna Beneviento because she deserves to be happy)

A bed of silken blankets, tousled locks of ebony hair framing the white contrast of the pillow beneath her peaceful form - deep in slumber did Donna lay, a soft inhale entering, and an even softer exhale leaving - she was what you saw as the quintessence of relaxation and beauty all in one.

Her features are soft, seeming to be gifted from Aphrodite and blessed in an endless abundance of elegance. The scar over her eye is a reminder of her pain, yet her strength to endure, endlessly.

How insecure Donna was without her veil, how frightened she was to be stared at, choosing to hide behind a garb of clothing in an attempt to feel comfortable.

Only to bed did she set it aside, albeit hesitantly, she felt she could trust herself to let you in, and allow you passage even in her weakest of moments -you were the safety she craved so much — a home within her very own.

From the blossoming of your friendship, Donna felt a connection, one unlike any she's felt. The two of you growing close and eventually, through some possibility, sharing a romantic attraction toward the other.

You were unsure when it began, and yet, it was too cheesy for you to claim it was at first sight, because you knew it wasn't.

Donna wasn't the type to fall at first sight, no, she needed to know she had trust, and firm boundaries set first before she would allow herself to fall freely.

Yet, of all the possibilities, she's permitted you that trust, and for that, you've done nothing but offer yourself to her, freely, and with nothing but love.
