(Warnings: Forced surgery, mentions of stitches and mutilation, threats)

The previous events that occurred only proved one thing to you that night -Alcina did not care for you and seemed to develop an unhealthy obsession with turning your daughter into one of her own.

This was no longer a relationship that could be rebuilt, and rather one that you knew you would have to escape, it all was so incredibly unhealthy, and yet you were unsure of where to go.

This village quickly went to hell the moment you stepped foot into this castle, and your only options would be the other three Lords -god forbid you to run to Mother Miranda herself.

Your plan began with knowledge of the basics.

For one, Alcina never allowed you out at night, claiming beasts of the night to roam these empty halls, as to why you were stuck in a room until daybreak, along with her and your daughter.

Secondly, when she wasn't able to have you in her sights, she trusts her eldest to keep tabs on you -which could range from you outright being followed, or stalked, you had eyes on you almost at all times.

And third, the only free-roaming that was allowed, was when Alcina could escort you out into the courtyards and allow you a breath of fresh air, all the while she held Evina, claiming it was to allow you a break, yet you knew better.

Last, but, not least, you've picked up on the times her daughters traverse the castle grounds, taking shifts from eldest to youngest, throughout the day and night, which, could come in handy if you only catch Alcina off guard long enough for you to escape.

Yet, it all seemed absurd to pull off, a scheme only to be reimbursed in blood if gone awry.

It all came across far too risky, and yet, to consider it was your only option, no longer could you tolerate her threatening words and abusive nature, nor did you want your daughter to have a life similar to this.

You've managed to hatch out a plan, one that could work if you pulled it off, all you needed was Evina, and a servant that... -you could throw under the bus.

It would be enough to give you the time you needed to run, and you hoped it could happen within the morning light...although it seems your plan was all but too late that night you laid your head to rest.

You assumed to stir awake as you usually do, blinded by the light of the window directly across from the bed, and yet Alcina woke you, with a gentle voice, and genuine affection that she hasn't shown you in months.

When your eyes open, you see her, however a bit blurred, the corners of her lips curled into a smile, and her eyes, you could never forget how softly they gazed at you.

"Good morning, beloved," soft fingers hover over your bottom lip, yet all you notice was the lack of gloves. "Did you sleep well?"

Still, unusually dazed, you attempt to sit up, but, find it harsh on your muscles the moment you try -arms giving out on you the moment your weight was applied.

Alcina tuts, moving her arms beneath you as she guides you back against the pillow.

"Now, now, don't push yourself, you've been through a lot."

Finding it hard to speak, you fix her with a squinted look, your head beginning to pound and the world spinning.

"Who...what do you-" a flash comes across your vision, and a searing pain follows— you cry out, hand flying to your forehead in an attempt to ease the pain.

Ever so kind, she coos, hushing your cries in caring words, and small kisses placed along your jaw, her one hand big enough to hold your torso down even as you writhe in agony.

"It'll pass, beloved, I promise you."

As she says, it does indeed pass, but in a fiery burn along the back of your eyes spreading down your body and sizzling out into a numb sensation.

By the end of it, you felt exhausted, spent from whatever just happened, however, Alcina could not look more unconcerned.

A sinking suspicion sets in your gut, and, steadily, you meet her gaze.

"What did...you do?"

A firm question, not one to be mistaken for anything else.

Alcina breaks into a smile, corners of her lips turning upward as she continues to hold you closer, fingers brushing against the nape of your neck.

"I made you eternal," guiding her free palm over to the nightstand, she takes a hand mirror, angling it just right to show you an image of horror. "You were the exact vessel for the Cadou!"

What looked back, was two discolored eyes, the pupil blown into slits with reddened veins pulsing beneath, and the corners of your lips scarred into a jagged line reaching your ears.

Gaze befalling on your throat, there remained a fresh wound, stitches covering a vast area reaching your chest and jaw, almost as if your very flesh was peeled back and placed anew.

"What did you do to me?!"

You snarled, voice now backed by a power unbeknownst to you.

Alcina has yet to flinch, looking lost as to why you've reacted so furiously over her gift. She's allowed you such a privilege and yet you react so selfishly!

"I turned you into perfection."

"You turned me into an abomination!"

She scoffs, offended by your statement.

Tightly, and abruptly, she tangles her fingers into your hair, craning your neck and forcing your back against the pillow.

"Raise such a tone with me again and I'll ensure the only control you have over yourself is the ability to blink."

She tightens her grip to a point of it becoming unbearably painful, which tears a guttural cry to slip past your lips, the watering of your eyes blinding your vision further. You reach to grasp her wrist, hoping to ease the tension.

Alcina felt a tang of pity at such a pathetic sight, even through your transformation you couldn't stand a chance against her - no matter how hard you tried.

Lowering herself, she drops her voice to a whisper, a deathly low, yet commanding tone.

"I could snap that pretty neck of yours with ease...and we wouldn't want that would we?"

Allowing you a chance, she eases her grip, but only by so much.

"You've proven so difficult throughout these recent days, and I would hate to spill such delicious blood."

Again, she shows just how useless you were when it came to her brute strength and immeasurable intimidation. She wanted you to know just how simple it would be to kill you, and without a second thought.

It was when that look of pure desperation appears on your features did she finally releases you, a twisted grin over her features.

"Now," she sighs, a false haven of white and crimson, "in due time, you'll be fit to roam, but, in this state, you've no reason to be walking!"

Guiding her fingers through your hair, she caresses over your ear.

"For now, I will be taking personal care of Evina -and soon, when she too is old enough, shall undertake the very same power that my daughters hold."

The feeling of hopelessness is certainly the only one you've grown accustomed to while living here. And now, there was little you could do to prevent this from happening.

There were countless signs of this very tragedy, and yet you were too late...and now, you would suffer the unbearable fate of watching your daughter face a life you couldn't prevent.
