(Maiden/Mistress relations, nothing too extreme.)

To be a maiden candidate for Castle Dimitrescu was seen as being placed for the chopping block. A fate that rarely any training maiden wished to undergo, it was a life sentence, be it that you will spend the last of your days working or by the deathly temper and sadistic tendencies that the occupants of the castle were prone to experiencing.

It didn't take a genius to uncover the truth behind the constant influx of vanishing maids. The answer was the very wine Lady Dimitrescu was so well known for, The Sanguis Virginis translated to Maidens Blood.

As said, it doesn't take a genius.

But, look at you now, shivering from the cold and concern of stepping onto Dimitrescu property — even when they expected you, you had half a mind to run away. So very sure that your fate rested on a bloody grave if you entered the castle.

You've plenty of warnings from your village and continuous farewells to occupy your mind; it didn't help that they made it sound like you were walking into your funeral, but there tragically was no turning back, not when Lady Dimitrescu watched you from one of the many windows, evaluating your every move — or well, lack thereof.

You wouldn't be the first to run; there have been many before you who attempted and failed miserably in the end, so it wouldn't come as a shock if you were to try.

So, you could imagine her surprise when you began walking forward, pressing on into the estate enclosure and making your way for the gate, confident in your step as you near what could be the final place you'd ever live in.

Alcina could say it was refreshing not having to chase after you, having already assumed you wouldn't show — but now that you have, you've already shown her that she's made the correct choice.

Alcina has gone a bit of time since requesting a personal maid, having many difficult and tiring situations in the past, she's wished to give herself a break for a while.

However, with being her age, and holding such a tiring reputation, she's found herself slipping into a state of dismay, struggling at even the most basic of tasks. She's growing weary, using sleep as an excuse to pass time by.

By now it's correct to assume she needed a distraction from herself. And what better way to do so than to hire a human to bend to her every whim.

It's doesn't take more than a few moments before her daughter Daniela appears at her door, knocking thrice and entering at the sound of Alcina's voice.

"The human is here," she starts. "Bela said she looks unarmed, do you wish for us to send her to you?"

Daniela remained to be the most outspoken but out of the three, proving unafraid to speak her mind.

Alcina turns her gaze, trailing it along the doorframe as she thinks.

"Try not to scare her too much?" Alcina carefully moves her hat into a more favorable position, keeping locked gazes with Daniela. "I don't want another incident."

Daniela takes a small bow, departing beyond the door and out of Alcina's view.

Just downstairs, one of the castle denizens allows you entry, squaring you away with a sinister smile and taking you through the spacious foyer with hurried steps through to the main hall.

She exchanged no indicator of anger nor irritation with you in the start, choosing to delicately examine the edge of her sickle and occasionally spinning the handle in the palm of her hand while she guides you deeper into the estate.

She catches your eye a few times, the reflective golden of her gaze shimmering with curiosity, and each one is met with a nervous smile from you.

This was the point of no return. You knew that, and you assume she did too.
