Chapter 4 The Big Escape

Well after the death of Carley we tried thinking of a plan to escape. Well were all still here sitting in this room when we start to do our escape plan.  Michael and I had seen a air vent on the ceiling. He climbed up in it and crawled around until he saw a safe part to come out at. So he came back and told us he could get out. Brooke went with him and she took a long metal pole. Michael stopped where he was going to get out and Brooke went on ahead of him to create a distraction. Brooke banged the pole against the metal so hard the air vent started to collapse. Michael heard all the noise and jumpped out the air vent he didnt see anyone out there so he ran and let all of us out. We all thanked him so much. Then we went to go get brooke. Then we had saw that Jacob had a gun to her head. Jacob yelled "STOP! Take another step and i pull the trigger!" We all stopped. Jacob said "Put your wepons on the........." and before he could say another work Hannah shot him through the chest blood was everywhere. Hannah said "I'm sorry he kept for what we did to you. Were not those kind of people." I said "Well if your not those kind of people why did you do it!" Hannah said "He has never done this before i dont know what made him do it. We need to get out of here before Logan finds out what happened because he wont hesitate to kill us all because Jacob was his brother. Me and Hannah went up to Kate and asked her if she wanted to come with us. Kate replied and said "Yes i will come with you but i have two childeren a 4 year old boy named Gage and a 9 year old girl named Morgan" I said "Its ok we will take great care of them. Well now we stand with Me Michael Brooke my Mom Hannah Kate Gage and Morgan. So we got as much supplies as we could and left they had a van so we all got it in it and michael drove us away from the shelter. Michael asked "Does anyone know where to go?" Kate replied "Yes to go towards Texas because i heard there was a safe house there on the radio and a lot of survivors are there. Michael said "What radio station did you hear it on?" Kate said "I dont know im sorry." I said "Well guys it looks like were heading to Texas. This turned out good because i have some family and friends in Texas But i dont know if they have been infected or not." Brooke and my Mom said "We its worth a try to see if they are alive." I said "I hope they are." Well gage and morgan fell asleep with Kate and Hannah. My Mom Tanzie Brooke Michael and Me are still awake. We have been traveling for a while so we settled down and stopped driving for a while to sleep and get back on track of what were doing its been a long day with all thats happened so we eventually all fell asleep.
