June
It's our last day.
The time has flown by incredibly fast and I've found myself even more infatuated with Vinnie than when I arrived.
We spend the morning shopping. We got quite a few things and I got a better peak of the kind of stuff he's into.
Hats, jewelry, shoes, belts, and even sunglasses are just some of the things he bought.
I've never really seen him in a hat before the day we went into that hat shop- and apparently he thought he looked just as good as I thought he did in them because he bought four more.
But we had been shopping since the sun came up to get as much time in as possible and then went home for lunch. After we got done eating, we somehow ended up on our bedroom balcony, sitting on the ground while we go back and forth reading to each other.
I run my fingers through his hair with his head in my lap, my other hand holding the book up so I can read aloud to him.
Vinnie gazes up at me softly, twirling the ends of my hair, that hangs down over my shoulders, around his fingers delicately.
My stomach growls, making me stutter over my words quickly until I have to stop in general.
Vinnie takes my face into his hand and tilts my chin down so I have to look down at him.
"Hungry?" He asks with an amused smile.
I wiggle my nose at him, "No that's just the alien baby living in me, trying to crawl it's way out."
"I question your sanity."
"I question it too."
"Well," he gets up off of me to sit up beside me and stretch, "Lets go get a nice dinner."
"A Fancy dinner?" I close the book up and set it to the side, "Before I go drink my weight in alcohol."
Vinnie reaches over me for the book, "Yea I was planning on taking you somewhere really nice so you gotta go get dressed."
Of course this guy would. He's obviously a hopeless romantic. He's so interested in this book it's ridiculous. I bet his favorite Genre of movies is romantic dramas or rom coms.
He holds the book in his hand and looks down at my legs, "Are those my sweats?"
I purse my lips and rub my hands down my thighs, feeling the soft fabric of the grey sweatpants... that are definitely his.
"They looked comfy." I lift my eyes up to him slowly, "I'll wash them for you."
Vinnie just stares back at me with a straight face, but his brow pulled down before he fails at giving me that look and gushes.
"YOURE SO CUTE." He launches himself at me, knocking me over onto the ground with a thud.
I giggle while he holds onto me and kisses my face over and over until I laugh hard.
Vinnie presses his cheek against mine, smooching our faces together and says, "You can keep them."
"Okay." I chuckle at him and my attention turns to the book he dropped while attacking me. It sits on the edge, almost teetering over the balcony ledge so I say, "Hey grab the book before it falls off the balcony."
Vinnie lifts up off of me and looks around. When he sees it he snatches it and brings it into his lap.
His fingers run up the pages until he flips through the book quickly, "How does it end?"
