Aurora's point of view:

I froze in amazement.

Was I turning delusional? Was the longing and hunger for my sister’s return sending me into the deep depths of stir crazy?

My mouth open in awe I watched as the rabbit began to walk closer towards me on its hind legs. He smiled a hint of taunting and mischief dancing upon his facial features as he swiftly glanced at his pocket watch.

It had just turned midnight and the town hall clock began to chime, a beautiful array of sounds dancing throughout the town as the stars began to shimmer and glow in the eerie darkness of the night.

‘‘I believe I am correct in thinking.’’ He stated, pausing as he readjusted his waist coat. He gave a swift glance around the overgrowth of the murky garden before glancing at me, his enchanting blue eyes vibrant and dazzling in the depths of the darkened night.

‘‘Rabbit. Mr Rabbit. W-what are you trying to suggest?’’ I stuttered feeling my body begin to shake violently with nerves.

‘‘‘Well Aurora.’’ He began. ‘‘I know where your sister is.’’
