As soon as classes ended, Mami used telepathy to find out where everyone wanted to meet; before parting at lunch Mami asked about going together with Homura to fight the Witch, which the transfer student agreed to despite both knowing she'd be fine alone.

Kyoko decided to stay behind to 'keep watch for Kyubey', even though they all knew she just wanted to spend time with Sayaka.

"Hey, what do you guys usually do today?" Kyoko asked as they walked around the mall.

"I can't remember," Sayaka admitted sheepishly.

"We go to a cafe with Hitomi, and then the music store." Madoka answered.

"Ah! I remember now!" Sayaka cried happily. "Madoka runs off to save Kyubey, I come to help and we run into that barrier, where we meet Mami."

Kyoko nodded, she wasn't usually in Mitakihara this early so she wouldn't know.

"What about you Kyoko? Do you remember anything else yet?" Madoka asked.

Kyoko shrugged. "A helmet?"

"A helmet?" Sayaka repeated.

"Yeah, a whole suit of armor," Kyoko paused. "Well almost, it was huge, like the size of a house, I was sat on something, and its arm was missing."

Madoka shuddered, knowing what Kyoko was talking about. "Anything else?"

"Um, Sayaka crying at the train station?" Kyoko continued, oblivious to the tense pinkette and curious bluenette.

"Crying?" Sayaka tilted her head.

Kyoko's eyes widened as she connected the dots.

"S-Sorry, uh... what else..." Kyoko muttered, going through her newly obtained memories.

----------

Mami stood with her hands on Kyoko's shoulders, gently nudging her forward.

Madoka, Homura and Sayaka were in front of them, Madoka smiling brightly at Sayaka, while Homura just quietly watched.

Sayaka looked Kyoko up and down, then smiled and stuck her hand out, which Kyoko tentatively took.

----------

Kyoko smiled to herself and shrugged. "Dunno about that, Mami was introducing me to Sayaka."

"That happened a lot..." Madoka sighed, disappointed at how vague it was.

Kyoko just shrugged again.

"Madoka, does your wish include when we were Witches too?" Sayaka asked, despite already having a feeling it did.

"Morbid." Kyoko muttered.

"I don't know," Madoka admitted. "Why?"

"Just curious," Sayaka answered vaguely.

Kyoko gave her an odd look, but didn't say anything.

"So anyway--" Sayaka began.

"Madoka? Sayaka?" a familiar voice asked.

"Hitomi?" Sayaka turned to the green haired girl.

"I don't think I've met you?" Hitomi turned to Kyoko.

"She just transferred to our class," Madoka explained with a smile. "I thought you were still in America."

"We just got back, mother missed Japanese food so we came here straight from the airport." Hitomi explained.

"I can respect that," Kyoko grinned. "I'm Kyoko."

"Hitomi Shizuki, nice to meet you." Hitomi returned with a politeness only used when she didn't like someone.
