Andy POV
I ran as fast as I could, so angry and embarrassed that I couldn't control it, couldn't hold it back and I did something I haven't done in a decade, I shifted. The sand underneath my paws kicking up behind me like a sandstorm as I ran.
I was already the pack freak.
The outcast.
The rogue.
A wolf without a pack, feral and hated.
Now they all know he's rejecting me, they all have another reason to hate me.
Andy, are you alright? Where are you? Alexi's voice barged into my head, almost causing me to stumble in the sand.
I'm fine, I just need some time alone. I shot back, shutting down the connection and blocking him out.
I kept running for what felt like hours before going back home.
I got back to the house and shifted before running inside. Being naked in public wasn't on my agenda for today, or any day for that matter. I have already been humiliated enough for one day, I don't think I could handle anymore.
After showering the dirt and sand off, I changed into some comfortable clothes, going downstairs in search of food. By food I mean ice cream and chocolate, screw the calories I needed comfort food.
So much comfort food.
Just as I removed the tub from the freezer, an excruciating pain erupted from the back of my head, bringing me to my knees.
Something had hit me, it must have.
Laughing echoed behind me, but I couldn't open my eyes. Why can't I open my eyes?
"Not so tough now are you, slut." Somebody sneered at me in a voice I didn't recognise, two other voices filled the air, laughing.
I doubled over as a foot collided with my stomach, the others holding down my arms and legs as they all took turns kicking, one after another. Kick, kick, kick.
My ribs cracked under the force, the sound deafening to my ears. Twisting my body, I managed to get one of my legs free, giving me another room to kick the only one I could reach. My foot caused a horrendous crack to reverberate throughout the room, the receiver growling.
"You dumb bitch, you're going to pay for that". I felt myself slipping away and knew I was going to pass out. Knew if I passed out they would kill me.
So, I did the last thing I thought I'd do.
I called for help.
Logan, hel... I didn't get to finish, a kick to my head sent me to a world of nothing.
