Andy POV

I started fidgeting with my hands and stared out into the ocean as I spoke. "That's not the whole story, I never told anyone not even Lex, but I know why the Alpha requested they come visit quickly. I was walking with my mother and a hunter jumped out at us. He grabbed my mother, and I reacted."

With a son, I admitted "I shifted."

"Rea honey, breakfast is ready." My mother yelled.

"Coming." I yelled back, running down the stairs. The smell of pancakes grew stronger as I approached the kitchen. My mother was standing at the counter with a plate of chocolate chip pancakes, smiling at me as I entered.

"Rea sweetie, can you fetch your father. He's in his office again." I nodded and walked towards my fathers office, knocking on the door impatiently. Nothing, sighing, I went inside. He was sitting at his desk, running a hand through his hair. Something was worrying him; he always does this when he's worried.

It was only then that I noticed the phone in his hand. "She's going to do it; I haven't changed my mind. I told you this all before, I don't understand why you keep bringing it up Michael."

He seemed to realise that he wasn't alone anymore, looking up his eyes met mine and he smiled.

"Goodbye." He said quickly before hanging up the phone.

"When did you get here, kiddo?" he asked as he walked towards me. I stayed silent as he picked me up, tickling me until I giggled.

As I giggled, I said, "Stop, mom said breakfast was ready." He threw me over his shoulder. "Well then, let's not keep her waiting."

Once breakfast was over, my father went straight back to work, my mother cleaned up the table, and I went to my mother's music room. The walls were a deep shade of red, and the room was empty aside from her massive white grand piano in the centre of the room, it was the simplest room in the pack house but it was my favourite. When she moved in, my father designed it for her, building her an escape.

My mother interrupted my thoughts, "I thought you'd be in here, shall we have another lesson?"

My mother played the piano with ease, her fingers sailing over the keys. I loved watching her play, so I nodded as she walked to it.

We always took a walk through the pack lands after my lesson. Mom always says that it is essential for the pack to see their Luna and future Alpha, as well as to remember what part you play in this pack.

Letting go of my mother's hand, I ran through the trees; a dense forest surrounded us, making it seem like something out of a fantasy. My mother called after me, but I ignored her. I kept running until it started to feel wrong, something wasn't right, the hairs on the back of my neck stood up as I turned and studied the forest.

Run! Not stopping to wonder who said that I just ran. Before I reached my mother, I saw a man aiming a gun at her, his eyes hard as he squeezed the trigger. I ran towards her without thinking, just reacting. Although I felt every bone and muscle in my body breaking, I kept running, leaping before the stranger could shoot his gun. My teeth digging into his arm.

The man stared at me with terrified eyes, throwing me off of him, before running in the opposite direction. I went to chase him, but my mother held me back, wrapping her arms around me, holding me in place. After a few quiet moments, I heard footsteps coming towards us. I immediately tensed up, ready to fight whoever it was.

"Don't worry sweetie, it's okay." my father's voice drifted to me and I calmed down. He knelt down in front of me and reached a handout towards me.

"Can you change back?" tilting my head, I looked at him confused. Before looking down, I was a wolf. That's not possible. You can't shift until you're sixteen. I started to panic, what's happening to me?
