Logan POV
"Where the hell is, she?" I yelled for what must have been the hundredth time.
We had gotten back to the packhouse hours ago only to find Andy never arrived. Mind linking isn't working, something is blocking her.
Where is my mate?
"We'll find her." Jackson said, his own face hard as he tried to keep himself calm.
He had been trying to calm me down since he arrived, but it wasn't working. Nothing was. Nothing is going to calm me until Andy is back in my arms.
We had all gathered in my office, trying to find out who the hell took her. I was there with Alexi, my father, and Mr Jackson. All we knew was that she had been abducted before she arrived at the house. The guards had scented her not far from the pack house.
"Sorry Alpha, but I thought you might like to see this." Mr Thompson, one of the pack elders, specifically the one I assigned to find out about Andy's power, announced as he entered the room.
"Come in. Did you find anything that can help us?"
"I'm not sure, I have an idea about what Miss Hale may be, but I need to ask you some questions before to be sure."
"What questions?"
"Have any of you seen her wolf?" he asked, looking at all of us.
When we all shook our heads, he looked disappointed but continued. "What about her eyes?"
"Her wolves are bright blue. They almost look like flames."
As I watched the others all look confused at our conversation, I realised they had no idea she was different.
"I will say then it's quite possible I am correct, but it's hard to tell for sure without seeing her wolf."
Get to the point already, my mate could be dying, I don't have time for twenty questions. When I just stared at him, he continued.
"There are ancient texts about white wolves, they are extremely rare, there are only a few documented cases in our history. From what you told me; she fits the criteria. They can shift from childhood if they feel threatened. They are also stronger, faster and have more endurance than a regular wolf, but the most extraordinary part is their power. They can control one of the elements, such as earth, fire, water, or air. Their eyes tell you which one they are."
He pulled out an old leather book, turning to a bookmarked page. "Red flame for fire, green leaves for earth, blue waves for water, and grey wind for air." We all just stared at him confused. Is Andy a white wolf? It would explain the fire but...
"Her eyes are blue, not red. So, what does that mean?" I asked him.
"I'm not sure alpha. It's possible it's just a deformity." He offered.
"Thank you, Thompson." I said dismissing him.
"Have we missed something?" Alexi asked me after Thompson left.
"It's a long story and not mine to tell, but I think he's right. I think Andy might be a white wolf."
"Does that help us find her?" he asked me.
"I have no idea."
