Unstoppable

"Seriously, you too?"

Sophie went to help Coulson support Hunter back onto the quinjet. It seemed he had been shot.

"You are an idiot, Lance Hunter," she muttered.

"Oh sweetheart, I love you too."

She just glared at him, before setting him down on one of the seats, "We have to bandage that up. How bad's the pain?"

"It's just a flesh-wound I'm absolutely fine-"

"Don't give me that."

She winced as she crouched down, grabbing a first aid kit from underneath a seat.

"Soph, God, careful," he muttered as she pulled herself back up, sitting beside him.

"Out of ten, the pain, tell me," she said firmly.

He groaned, but reluctantly gave an answer, "I don't know, like a six...seven...maybe an eight, no more than an eight and a half."

She just rolled her eyes, "lift up your shirt."

"At least buy me dinner first."

She just gave him a look. He just grinned and lifted up his shirt, hissing as the cold air hit his wound.

"A flesh wound, seriously?" She exclaimed, "Hunter, there is a bullet in you."

"Oh, really?" He looked down, "oh bloody hell."

She sighed, "it's fine, I'll get it out."

"I don't know if-"

"I've done it before, multiple times actually," she said. "You won't die, I promise."

"You need any help?" Fitz came up to them, before looking at Hunter's bullet wound and hissing, "oh, that's gross."

"Cheers, mate."

"Just stay 'ere, maybe hold Hunter's hand, he'll need it," Sophie said.

Hunter scoffed, but looked down at the wound and pursed his lips together nervously.

"How's it looking?" Coulson asked her.

"About to remove the bullet, Sir."

"Oh," Coulson looked at Hunter, "good luck."

"Thanks."

"I'm just gonna go in with this," Sophie lifted a small metal tool from the first aid box, quickly wiping it down so it was fully clean.

"That looks lethal."

"Relax. Just breathe."

She lowered herself down so she was kneeling by his legs, getting a better view of the wound. It only hurt a little. It was way better than the pain Hunter was feeling, and that was what she had to focus on in the moment.
