Crazy Complicated

CHAPTER 2

I received a text early in the morning from Ate Mandy, I need to be at the studio later for another meeting. Meeting to meet the two representative of Buenaventura International School na magiging part ng Sapphire Dance Troupe for the meantime.

I'm all set and waiting for the love birds to be done, we already ate our breakfast together as usual and I'm just waiting for them to finish fixing their papers that they need for their work later.

And while waiting I received a call from Valeen.

I answered it lazily and put the phone in my ear.

"Yhanna?!" naipikit ko ang isang mata ko at nilayo ko ang aking cellphone sa aking tenga dahil sa matinis na boses ni Valeen.

"Tss" asik ko.

"Sa Coffee shop ngayon, mabilis lang may sasabihin lang kami. I don't take no for an answer" dali-dali na sabi nya at binabaan na ako ng tawag.

Napabuntong hininga na lamang ako at nagpababa kay Kuya Linzon  sa coffee shop na sinasabi ni Valeen.

Nandoon na silang tatlo sa loob at tila may pinag-uusapan na kung ano ngunit ng makita ako ni Valeen ay nanlaki ang mata nya at agad syang tumayo para batiin ako.

"Yhanna! Dito dali" aniya at pinang hila pa ako ng mauupuan.

Tahimik akong umupo roon at doon ko lang napansin na in-orderan na pala nila ako ng hot chocolate.

I sip on my hot chocolate first as I wait for them to speak but they are just watching me as I drink the hot chocolate.

"What?" I asked.

"Uh" na baling ang tingin ko kay Valeen pero lalo lamang syang kinabahan. Pinagtaasan ko sya ng kilay. "A-ano kasi... Uh"

"Okay. I got to go. May meeting pa 'ko" ani ko at tumayo na dala-dala ang cup ng hot chocolate.

Agaran naman ang pag pigil sa akin ni Valeen sa pag tayo at ang higpit ng kapit nya sa kamay ko. Nakatitig lang ako sa kamay nya na nakahawak sa palapulsuhan ko at ng mapansin nya iyon ay agad nya itong inalis.

"Iyong new set of exchange students" sabi ni Lianna kaya napatingin ako sa kaniya pero iyon na, wala na syang dinugtong pa.

Tumayo na ako ng tuluyan at umalis, nasasayang ang oras ko dahil sa pa ligoy-ligoy pa sila sa pagsasabi sa akin.

"They are seven people in total" ani ni Ericka na nag patigil sa akin sa pag hakbang. "The two enrolled theirself again for another course for them to enter the premises"

I didn't say anything or even turn around to look at them three but I could feel my heart beating slowly and I could feel my eyes turned red and my face turned cold.

I didn't give them any words and just leave the coffee shop.

I walked the distance between the coffee shop and the University.

And as I passed by the trees and buildings, the rays of sun is peeping through the way and it hit my face but I didn't bothered to cover my face and continued walking.

The morning wind envelope my body and I could feel it being relaxed. I could feel my nerves being calm. I closed my eyes to feel that again, I want to feel at ease.

I always wanted to walk in the road freely but I know I can't, knowing what I've been through when I was walking in that cold dark night while the rain is pouring hard.

I am crying silently as I pull my trolley bag that contains my clothes and the things that I need for school.

The only thing that I could hear is my heart that being ripped into tiny pieces. I can't believe, that my parents could have done those things to me.
