Crazy Complicated

CHAPTER 6

And just what I expected, I was left out again. I am being thrown out.

No one is running after me and I should be glad, I should be happy because I prevent the pain, the nightmare.

But I just can't simply get to be happy about what's going on right now. I felt alone. I felt like I will never be part of the picture. I am still an outsider huh.

I smile bitterly.

What's new anyway?

Our practice resumes after that scene... And today, the awaited day is over because the contest night will be start later at exactly 7:00 pm at Buenaventura International School.

Nag sabi sila Ate Macey na pupunta sa contest yun nga lang ay male-late sila ni Kuya Linzon dahil sa trabaho.

"Tomorrow is the date of the contest right?" tanong ni ate Macey habang nasa hapagkainan kami para sa dinner.

"Yes" maikling sagot ko.

"Where's the venue?" she asked again.

"BIS" tamad na tamad na sagot ko.

"Buenaventura International School, What time?" si ate Macey.

"7:00 pm" sabi ko.

"We will come! But we will be a little late because of work" ani ni ate Macey. Tipid naman akong tumango at nag patuloy sa pagkain.

"Galingan mo ah, para hindi naman sayang pag punta namin" pang-aalaska ni Kuya Linzon.

"You might drop your jaw" ani ko at bumaling sa kaniya to show him my smirk.

He raised a brow, naghahamon. Tumawa naman si ate Macey at nag patuloy na ang aming dinner.

We're already at the backstage, waiting for the ceremony to start.

And I heard that the benches were already full of people with their banner and color coded shirt to express their support to the dance group they love.

And as I am quietly sitting here as I observed my surroundings, I saw some of them are nervous, excited and having a mix of emotion.

There are still some people who practice their dance in the corner as we wait for the event to start.

And we didn't wait that long because we already heard the background music as the emcee is walking to the stage.

"Good evening ladies and gentlemen" masiglang bati ng emcee and the crowd cheered roared. "The awaited day is over. And we are gathered here to present you the Grand contest night"

And the crowd were loud after that. We could all hear the chuckled of the emcee because of that.

"Are you excited?!" tanong ng emcee and the crowd didn't disappoint to cheer loudly. "I can't hear you people. Are you ready?!"

And the crowd went wild as they cheered louder.

"To give life to our stage, we have first. MacKenzie Groove from Nuestra University" pagpapakilala ng Emcee.

Ang mga MacKenzie Groove ay naka suot ng green and black and they also have makeup on their faces. It's a nature art with a touch of fire.

They did a shadow dance and a mix of hip hop.

"WOOOH!!! MACKENZIE GROOVE! MACKENZIE GROOVE!"

Masigabong palakpakan at cheer ng mga nasa crowd after ng performance.
