Everything stayed on silence as Patches stared sadly at the movie poster. his eyes started to tear up, the only thing that broke the silence was a "It's not fair..." coming from the kid. he felt the anger and fury inside of his heart.
-That movie just exists for money...just to be a cash grab... He started to cry. "this is not fair..i hate when they do this!" His young voice started to get louder and louder. "Why have they done..."
Drooper noticed the tears on his new friend's eyes, "Fleegle was right" he thought to himself and found out what was wrong. "..he's not scared of us..he's scared of the movie". The lion went to comfort the kid. he whispered "Hey....it's ok...don't blame yourself for this..." he said softly "is not your fault" he stroked Patch's back.
The kid hugged drooper while crying quietly. drooper responded, "There...calm down kiddo.." he patted on the dog's head, "There's nothing to be scared of anymore..." Drooper started to think about what happens in the movie and Suddenly, drooper remembered something and started to chuckle. Patches heard this and looked up at the lion.
-What's so funny?.... exclaimed Patches while wiping a tear from his cheek, he didn't knew what it was so funny? it was...the movie? drooper was laughing at a horror movie based on them?.
-I'm sorry! really! The lion answered "Is just-" it happened again, laughter filled the frontyard where they were standing. Patches didn't knew what was going on, "what is so funny drooper?" the crying stopped and confusion was left. until drooper stopped laughing and said.
-I'm sorry!....i- i just...A HAHA! Drooper could barely speak but he managed to explain. "I did-" He stopped to calm down, take air and he cleared his throat. ready to tell. "In the movie...the robot version of myself pfft-" He was trying his best to not laugh. "Ha! Would you believe me...that a robot could kill somebody with a lollipop? AH HAHAHA!" Drooper started to laugh loudly again. "I can't! it looks so bad!" He couldn't stop. and he didn't noticed, but his red nose started to shine a bright and beautiful red. just like if he was rudolph the red-nosed reindeer.
They both hadn't noticed glowing.

Patches didn't laughed and just stared at the poster. he started thinking about the movie too, he tought of how off character drooper looked fisically in the movie. no gloves, really dark and cheap fur as well as stupid robotic movements. but then he remembered something too and started to giggle.
-And you haven't seen your face as a robot pffft- The dog forgot about the sadness and started to laugh louder. drooper knew exactly what he was talking about and he took off his glasses.
-You mean this Jeepers creepers peepers? 👀 Drooper opened his eyes and started to make silly faces. he also started to imitate the movie version of himself. "Silly stevie!" he said as moving like a robot. "My eyes are not open! the light bothers me ya' know?" They both were laughing a lot.
The kid's right ear also began to glow. the red, green and yellow patches stitched on his ear started to shine brightly, they still didn't noticed because of how much fun they were having, laughing at something that used to make them sad and angry was fun. it was the best night, after a while, they stopped laughing to breathe and relax so they don't get hiccups. everything was normal until they looked at eachother and gasped because of the glowing sight.
-Your ear! Drooper pointed at the light coming from the colorful patches. "Your nose!" Patches did the same as drooper. this has never happened before... well. at least for drooper.
-How can you do that? He exclaimed, the lion was surprised. "Well....long story short.." the kid spoke. "They shine when i'm happy..." he paused to look at their left ear, witch it was nothing but a dirty ear covered with mud, dirt and blood from the bike fall this afternoon. "And how can your nose do that?" he turned to drooper. "It shines like a traffic light."
Before they could explain eachother what was going on. Fleegle came out of the house. as soon as he did, the glowing from the patches and the nose suddenly stopped. it vanished as soon as fleegle peeked his head from the door. "Hey you two." he broke the silence. "Come on inside. it's already night!" he pointed at the moon while talking and proceeded to open the door for his friends. "You don't want to catch a cold...do you?" Fleegle asked jokingly. but drooper responded.
"Well we can't catch a 'hot' can we? is too fast!" he responded like he always does. with bad puns. "So it makes sense to catch a cold." Patches responded with a giggle.
-Oww just..come inside the house you silly bananas.." The beagle facepalmed. he thought that the lion and the dog would get along great. yeah..they would get along great while bothering fleegle with bad puns, silly questions and sayings as well as riddles. Patches is not like that, but with a grown up telling him what to do is pretty easy to get them to act silly.
Drooper went to the house. and patches picked up the lion's tail and dragged inside. as they entered the house, fleegle closed the door behind him. this might not be a normal night
