The pad was clean. but there was something odd...the outside was clean and fresh while the inside was dark and stained. it looked dirty, it wasn't like permanent stains it was like deterioration...it was like...no matter how much you scrubbed the walls, mopped the floor and cleaned the windows..it still dirty. sure..the fake blood was gone but..something was wrong.

It's not bad tho. it stills looks like the good ol' clubhouse where the splits hang out. Fleegle didn't thought the same, the only thing he could see, was a mess.

-This is our dear clubhouse!  He cheered. "Or...What is left of it..."  He answered himself with a bit of shame.

Patches wasn't sure to walk around, he might break something ! or maybe mess something up. he didn't wanted to bother anybody. so he just stayed still while looking at the place. Fleegle noticed and reasured him that it was ok.

-Well...Don't be shy! take a look around!  He said kind of nervous. maybe patches didn't liked the place. maybe he found it disgusting and gross. but that wasn't the case. "I'm gonna go and...call your mother, ok? " Fleegle was scared of patches seeing the condition the house was in. but he shrugged it off and went to the phone. Patches didn't seem to saw what was fleegle talking about.

The kid carefully placed Drooper's tail on the floor and walked slowly to look around the pad. for him it was beautiful. He went to check Bingo's drums. they were shiny and had the gourgeous logo of the banana splits printed in the front. next, he saw Drooper's bass wich was red and shiny just like his nose. Patches didn't had any words and just whispered 'Wow'.

Then. he saw snorky's keyboard. they were in beautiful condition, beautiful white and black keys, plenty of buttons to change the sounds and pitch of the keys. The kid could't believe he was in front of his favorite instrument. this had to be a dream.

Bingo walked over to Drooper and asked him softly. "You do think he noticed the huge black stains all around the house?" The ape whispered his lion friend. "I think he doesn't even know what the pad looked like before all of this so i think it's ok." Drooper whispered back. "So how's snorky?" The lion asked, he was worried of how sad the elephant was in these days. "You know how the 'thing' affected him..". Snorky didn't take the whole movie situation very well.

-Eh...He is kind of better than yesterday Bingo continued. "the little fellow hasn't honked in a couple of weeks.." Bingo scratched his head with worry. Snorky wasn't feeling happy these months, he didn't ate a lot and his honks were fetting softer and weak. even tho he's the 'good guy' in the movie. that didn't maked him feel better about himself. Drooper hissed worried. this wasn't a good sign.

Said elephant walked from the back door to the clubhouse towards his friends. he looked sad and tired. but at least he wasn't as bad as last month. Drooper waved hello to his friend and snorky responded with a weak 'honk'.

-How are you feeling snork?  The orange ape asked while giving the elephant a pat on the back. "You seem a little bit better!" Snorky just shrugged. he didn't felt awful but he still wasn't happy.

-Your haircut looks great tho! Snorky just came back from the hair saloon, he cutted all the hair that made him looked like a mop and he now looked like the elephant everyone knows. The elephant just gave a thumbs up while stroking his hair with his trunk. at least something good happened this morning for him.

-Nobody told you anything nasty, right?  Drooper asked. the elephant was getting a bit bullied these days, but nothing serious. just some stupid kids wanting to get their attention.

Snorky said no with his head. "Well..it looks like these days are getting brighter, right?" Drooper reasured with a single clap. "I'm pretty sure the sadness will go away on of these days." Bingo answered. Well...snorky had his doubts, but he still has hope for everything. these days were pretty dark and scary. but friends make everything better.

Drooper suddenly remembered Patches was in the clubhouse. "Hey kiddo!" He called happily. "This are my pals snorky and bingo!"  The lion pointed at them. patches walked towards them and waved hi.
