The Banana Splits: Splited Nostalgia.

Bring them closer.

The banana splits were having breakfast, after fleegle came back from his friend's house. it was a calm auttum morning for them, more cloudier than yesterday but still a gorgeous day. The four of them were pretty quiet on the table, just eating their food and minding their own business, it seemed there was nothing to talk about. until bingo decided to break the ice.

-So.....how's our old friend eh fleeg? The orange ape asked while tapping on fleegle's shoulder, he was curious about their old friend and how their life was doing. after all...they haven't caught up in a few months.

-Oh...she's great! she thanked us for helping her kid yesterday..my oh my..how years pass.. Fleegle answered. "She even invited me in.... but i couldn't bring myself to it.." The beagle continued. "What can we possibly talk about now?..especially with that movie around.."

-You're right about that fleeg'... Drooper answered from the other side of the table.

Bingo looked happy but got a bit dissapointed at the end but fleegle was right, what can you talk about with four animals of a band..it might been akward to tell them they have a horror movie. it could even be a bad idea. they might lose their trust and friendship.

-Well....at least you could see her one last time.... Bingo finished. this might of been the last time they hear of her, she built her life and family..while the splits stuck on the ground...forgotten...at least they were happy once again...fleegle didn't tought the same.

-Who said this is the last time we see eachother? Fleegle questioned with a big smile on his face. Bingo got confused when he heard those words coming out of the beagle's mouth. drooper did as well, while snorky just tilted his head.

-Say....what now? Bingo wanted to know what fleegle was talking about.

-We'll bring them closer! Like a family! Fleegle said with excitement. he tought it was better for the whole band to have more friends instead of just being the four of them. having true friends is better than just fans..and fleegle knew just what to do.

-That's it! A picnic! in 'The Spot' The beagle got up from his chair and started walking back and forth planning how he and his friends would spend the rest of the day. he had forgotten about his breakfast while he was speaking. Bingo, snorky and drooper looked at eachother in confusion, what was fleegle talking about?..'the spot'? was he talking about 'the spot' like in the song they wrote?

-And we'll bring games, music and fun..everything would be just fantastic! Hoo-hoo! Fleegle got carried away with this 'plan' that came out of the blue, his tail was wagging like never before and idea after idea were coming out of his mouth. 

-Fleegle? Bingo asked. but fleegle wasn't listening. so it was drooper's turn.

-Fleegle? earth calling to fleegle..

Again. it didn't worked, both the lion and the ape sighed and looked at snorky, the elephant nodded and knew what to do. he made a trumpet sound like regular elephants would do. and that was enough to caught fleegle's attention. making him stop talking and looked at his friends in confusion like they did earlier.

-Fleegle. what in the world are ya' talking about? The lion asked while he raised his arms in the air. "have you gone bananas?" Bingo continued. Snorky just honked.

-Honk Honk? (What is this plan you have in mind?) Snorky questioned. Fleegle just giggled and brought one of their records that was on top of their refrigerator and beside the cereal boxes. he then placed it on the table.

-Remember this fellas?

All three of them just nodded, these records were sent on cereal boxes for everyone who would've liked to hear their songs. 'Tra la la', 'I enjoy Being a boy' and so on. this was probably their favorite idea to release their songs. fleegle pointed at the name behind the cover wich it read 'This Spot'.

-What do you think if we invite our friend and their kid to a picnic on that place? 

-You mean the place were we would play and be silly? Drooper questioned. to wich fleegle just nodded.

-We can invite our friend and his kid! i'm pretty sure they'll have plenty of fun. 

Fleegle added. "Drooper! can you please call her and ask if she would like to join us?" Drooper shrugged and stood up from his chair, and walked to the phone. he didn't knew what was fleegle trying to get from this, but it was the perfect excuse to talk to his friend.
