Chapter 9: The letters

How long has it been since Naruto left his village? 3 weeks now. They say 12-13 week to train recruit. 

And counting the distance between both of us is thousand mile. The letter should be coming sooner or later.

After Graduating from Konoha High School,  I decided to take a week rest from everything that involved school. I spend my time in my apartment, some time with Ino. Yes, something I can call her name because the nickname Ino pig sound better. Having a week of not having to think about school give you unlimited freedom.

After having a week rest, i decided to go to a University. I decided that I want to be a doctor and take medical classes.

Medical school is challenging...  But I can overcome this trial that is put upon me.

Ding!

Someone rung the doorbell to my apartment.

I walk toward the door, unlocking it and the open it to see it.

"Mail for Sakura Haruno."

Someone had given me mail. I wonder who though.

"Thank you"

I take the mail from the mailman, closing then locking the door.

For a moment, I felt extremely excited to read letter that Naruto has written. Maybe he misses one of us.

Baka Naruto, one page  which was disappointed but even so, I couldn't help to smile knowing that he took his time to write.

I have to calm my girly side and open the mail

First week of training... exhausting.

Even tough 1 month to practice waking up early, I still get extremely tired. Maybe it's the environment that I am living in. At home, I was comfortable. Also, I am mortally scare of my drill sergeants. 

I heard they wake up early like 5:30am in the morning.

The only thing that hit me harder than waking up early and the physical training ... I got my head shaved.  I am bald. Please don't imagine being be bald. I will grow my  old hair out once I finished boot camp.

A bald headed Naruto, doesn't seem like he doing well.

Some good news. I can receive mail from anyone. Which mean you can also send me letter. The drill sergeant give up each recruit everyday. I don't expect you to send any letter considering how hard university must be.

[A Few weeks]

It was night time so I went to bed. But we have only an hour of free time. 

"All right listen up. We got some mails and letter for all of you today. Naruto"

Drill sergeant give me the letter.

It was from Sakura-Chan. She seem to written me a letter. Oh, is it like a love letter that she would confess to me. Or maybe it's a letter how she love me. Or maybe it said the you are the one for me. I miss her even it if only  been 6 weeks since I left.

I hopped into bed and read the latter

Dear Naruto, 

Baka Naruto, if you think this is a confession or a love letter you are dead wrong fox boy. Anyway it come to my knowledge that imagining you bald that I cannot stop laughing for it. Please write more than a page so I can hear more stuff  about your time there.

I took a week off from school related things. Now I am going to medical school to become a doctor. Ino also doesn't know about this but she seem doing pretty well. We hangout  during weekends and see each other in university sometimes. But she been taking acting classes which is entirely different subject.
