Chapter 3: Lies and Good News

Ino-pig successfully pulled me away from Naruto. I did promise him that I was going to help him with his career opportunities. But he insisted that he will do it by himself.

I've tried everything in my power to help him.

I've failed Naruto once again. Naruto is in a whole different world that is barely the same as mine.

He's 18 now but now his father is now threatening to kick him out if he doesn't find a job bfore graduation.

Just imagine the peer pressure as each second, each minute, each hours, each day , each weeks passed by.

"Where we going Ino-pig, you pulling too much."

"Shut up billboard brow, I just wanna try with you to explore the school even with me. It been awhile since we hangout alone you know."

With many people in the hallway, I got lost and Ino was no where to be found.

But I felt relief that I didn't have to be part of Ino with her dragging me all over the place that a plus to that.

Now, I have to time to myself I will go and check on where that baka Naruto went to.

I remember every path I took and every turn I made because Ino-pig like to get lost like the school for example it something a maze if you don't know where you going.

After a while, I finally found Naruto.

I couldn't see  the face of the person he was talking to but it was a male. And he looked really focused into what they might be discussing about.

The person he has been talking to proceed to give him mail or some sort.

After few more seconds they head of their own destination.

"Who were you talking too?"

"Oh god don't scare me like that." he said

"You're the one who ignored me."

"Sorry, sorry. I blacked out." he said 

"What was the mail that was given to you?"

"You saw me didn't you." he said

I nod in agreement.

I wonder if he knew I was there.

"Did you heard our conversation?" he said with a confusing look

 "Unfortunately there were lots of noises behind me. So I couldn't hear a single thing. Like literally." 

His face show a sigh of relief. Then revert back to his  smile but something wasn't right.

"I got some recommendations from that person. I'm gonna open when I get home." he said

That some good news.

"That is some good news."

[Naruto POV]

Almost blown my cover in front of Sakura-Chan. I had to make sure she didn't have any worry  toward me.

I had to lie to her.

Lying is always an option. Either is good one or bad one is up to you. When you are in a cornered and you are left with no choice you lie. Sometime you must lie in order to survive.

"Excuse me." she said

"Nothing to worry about, let go find Ino."

Just like any other days, the job affair has ended. Both Sakura and Shikamaru seem to have their mindset that I still don't have a job yet.

I have something that will sustain with me until the die I day.

This morning, I work up extra early.

It was 5:30 in the morning. I get a lot of thing done quickly and have some time to relax. But I didn't . I decided to take a morning jog.

After minutes of taking a break and drinking a bottle of water, I proceed doing push up and crutches. Don't hurt to improve on your body move.

why am I suddenly doing all of this. Why am I suddenly changing myself.

I already have physical fitness to join the U.S Marine Corp but it doesn't to even increase yourself more to extent.
