Chapter 40:

the thought rushed through my mind... im pregnant.

I stared at Harry with a worried look. his face was in shock, frozen. "I.." he managed to start, then wrapped an arm around my shoulders. he was quiet for a few minutes, then spoke again. "I won't leave you, I promise."

"o-okay.." I nodded, a single tear rolling down my cheek and being wiped by his warm thumb.

"babe its okay..i love you" he said gently.

"I love you too.." I managed to say through my fear of him leaving, although he promised he wouldn't. he promised.. a promise is a promise, you cant break a promise....right?

he smiled and kissed my cheek. "lets get some rest, yeah?" he smiled softly at me. I nodded lightly and he helped me up, guiding me to bed.

we both laid in bed and I rested my head on his chest. "can we not go to school....for like..a month?" I stated clearly.

"sure" he smiled.

"yay" I giggled.

I ended up falling asleep, and when I woke up, Harry was sitting beside me with a box of pregnancy tests. "hi.." I mumbled softly.

"hey, try these out," he handed the box to me, "do 3, majority wins.."

I nodded and crawled out of bed. I walked into the bathroom, shutting the door behind me.

I took the pregnancy tests and walked out of the bathroom to Harry waiting in the hallway. here goes nothing.. releasing the news.. oh gosh

"um.." I cleared my throat.

he looked up at me with curious eyes. "so..?" he asked.

"uh.. im pregnant, were parents..." I said awkwardly.

"awww" he smiled and pulled me into a tight hug, "cant wait.." he added.

"me either.." I said gently, hugging back.

we crawled back into bed and fell asleep.

a few months passed by without us going to school. we told the news to the boys. they were cool with it. Lou was upset at first but now hes okay.

it been about maybe.. 4 months, just about 5. sooooo 5 months. my little baby bump isn't so little anymore, its getting big. im kind of scared about this whole being pregnant thing. well anyways, we're going to the doctors today for an ultrasound, I hope its a girl.

we waited around a few hours before driving to the doctors.

when we got there, I laid in the bed, ready for my ultrasound.

a few minutes later, a doctor walked in, greeting us.

soon after, she put the cool gel on my stomach and took the ultrasound. I tried not to laugh, it tickled. we watched the screen, smiling.

"its a girl" the doctor announced. Harry held my hand and our smiles grew wider.

this isn't as bad as I thought it would be.
