Chapter 36:

I closed my eyes and layed there silently.

A few minutes later, i heard movement next to me. My eyes shot open and i saw Harry awake, moving around.

"Harry.." I said quietly with tears in my eyes.

"Lexi.." He looked at me, scared.

"I-i'm scared..." I said softly.

"Me too.." He said gently. Moments later, he added "hold on.."

He broke the strap off of himself and crawled over to me.

He started to undo my strap and we heard heavy footsteps in the hallway.

He quickly unstrapped me and pulled my body up to his.

The footsteps came closer and stopped right in front of the door to the room we were in.

I started shaking lightly and hid my face in his chest.

He picked me up and ran to the window quietly. He carefully pulled the window up and placed me outside, climbing out the window after me. He shut the window from outside and grabbed my hand. He started running, dragging me with him. We heard the door to the room we were in smash to the ground.

Harry quickly turned a corner with me and hid behind a bush.

We waited about 15 minutes until we couldn't hear the guy anymore. Harry picked me up and ran home with me.

He darted inside and placed me on the couch, sitting next to me.

"We're safe now love.." He said, breathing heavily.

"Okay.." I hugged him.

We sat there in silence and his breathing slowly calmed down.

"Harry... Do my eyes look normal..? Because i can see again... Perfectly.." I broke the silence.

He looked at me and smiled, nodding. "Yeah, they look normal again." He hugged me.

"Yay" i said, smiling.

I rested my head on his shoulder and fell asleep.

Harry's P.O.V.

I have a HUGE suprise for Lexi tomorrow. Or when she wakes up. Whenever, but either way, she'll love it. I can't wait to see her face!

I sat there quietly, playing games on my phone until she woke up.

I put my phone away and smiled at her.

"Hi babe" she smiled.

"Hey love" i smiled back, pushing the hair out of her face.

She got up and walked into the kitchen and i followed.

She opened the fridge and i reached into my back pocket.

I pulled out the small box and opened it. I kneeled down on one knee, holding the ring in the box in my hand, smiling widely.

The ring was gold and it had her name carved into it.

She turned around. "Babe where's the-" she stopped, her eyes glued to the ring and me down on one knee.

"Marry me..." I managed to say softly.

"I..." She stopped talking and looked down. I looked at her face, there was no smile what so ever, just a shocked look. No happiness on her face, no joy..

Lexi's P.O.V.

I turned around. "Babe where's the-" i stopped. Oh my god...

"Marry me..." He said softly.

"I..." I looked down. Is this really happening...
