Xingqiu and Chongyun were already on the benches, taking off their skates when the others arrived, all in a big group.

"Wow, you guys arrived just in time!" Xingqiu snickered, Chongyun still focusing on untying his skates.

"We thought you'd be gone by now, that's why we came." Keqing rolled her eyes, tugging on Ganyu's arm. They continued towards the skate rentals.

"Aw. I was going to show you some cool ice skating moves..." Xingqiu sighed, feigning disappointment.

After they all rented skates, they moved onto the ice and eventually separated into smaller groups again. Despite taking off their skates a second ago, Xingqiu and Chongyun pulled them back on to join the others on the ice, though this time, in casual clothing. After renting skates in her size, Ganyu quickly pulled them on, lacing them as tightly as she could. Sucrose and Albedo sat across from her on another bench, and Sucrose looked quite embarrassed as Albedo taught her how to tie her skates. Glancing back towards Keqing's figure, standing in the entryway, she hastily got up and maneuvered around the crowd of people to catch up.

Keqing had stepped into the rink already, lost in the sea of people. Ganyu found that it was difficult to move in skates while not on ice, but nonetheless, she reached the entry eventually. Stepping onto the slippery ice, a wave of cold air hit her skin and she drew in a deep breath. Picking up her speed, she caught sight of Keqing, ignoring how perilous the slip and slide of the ground below her could be if she misstepped. Gliding across the ice as gracefully as she could, she skated up to Keqing, who was struggling to move forward. Keqing was clinging to the railing with her knuckles a pearly white.

"Need some help?" Ganyu offered quietly with a smile, though not in a pitying way.

"Yes, please." Keqing sighed, looking at Xingqiu, who was now showing off in the middle of the rink with a series of double axels and other moves.

The two skated together for a while, Keqing slightly holding onto Ganyu. They settled into a comfortable silence, the rhythmic strokes of their blades on the smooth ice between them.

"So, have you picked your electives yet?" Ganyu asked, picking up their speed and breaking the silence.

"I haven't, but I'm planning to run for student council." Keqing shrugged, struggling to keep up with Ganyu.

"Oh!" Ganyu exclaimed, unsure of how to respond. "I think... I will too." She smiled at Keqing, who returned a small smile while simultaneously clutching onto the side railings.

"You'd be perfect for the position of secretary." Keqing stated matter-of-factly.

"Oh, I guess." Ganyu nodded, slowing down to help. She could feel her heart beating in her chest, and she was quite certain it wasn't from the thrill of skating. She felt as if she was unable to speak around Keqing, and no matter how hard she tried, no words would come out.

"Thanks." Keqing stopped for a second to catch her breath, Ganyu stopping next to her. "By any chance, do you have water on you?" She looked up expectantly.

"I'm sorry... I'm afraid I-" Ganyu started, feeling an odd wave of disappointment rush through her.

"It's okay," Keqing interrupted.
