Chapter 9 the unexpected visit

Well today I have been back in mystic falls for approximately two days. Not many know just my parents and my siblings. I haven't told my friends or Hope. As I have done things these past months that I am not proud as collecting money that people owed us and a little torture, but that is a responsibility as the mafia. But some things that I really aren't proud of is that I have had sex with different girls these past two months. You may ask why well. About two and a half month ago I went to New Orleans to see Hope. And trust me I got surprised. As I went to her family's home there that's when I saw Roman Sienna, yes Roman Sienna sitting there having dinners with her and her family. She saw me from the window, but before she could get her way to the door. I just walked away fast. I heard here yelling my name, but I was mad and heartbroken that I just didn't stop. I just walked and walked for hours around there. As I felt my heart was broken after what I saw. She was ringing my phone constantly and then after some hours I answered "what do you want Hope?". "What you saw isn't what you are thinking". "And how do you know what I am thinking huh, I see you with your ex boyfriend eating dinner with you and your family Hope". "I-I. It wasn't like that, just listen to me Max. I will explain just come back". I answered with "you know what Hope I don't want to hear your explanation you know. We aren't together so you can do what you want okay". I heard that she was about to cry, but she was holding it in and said "is this how it's going to be huh. Are you really going to just say that and mean it. Really Max really?". "Idk what you want me to say okay. Maybe we should just to what we want. We aren't together so why not", I said. I heard her small cry's and then I was surprised at what she said next "okay you know what. Fine you can do whatever and whoever you want. And I can too". I didn't want that, but I was so heartbroken that I said "fine then. Glad we sorted that out. I guess". "Yeah and don't try to hit me up, when you are back home. Have a great time at the rest of your trip". As she said that I heard her cry and before I got to say anything I heard her fathers voice in the phone "Max Salvatore I think that my daughter her was trying to get you to understand. But you didn't listen. You know you father he was very in love with your mother when they were younger, but she was with your uncle at that time so. You know what he did he settled down that she may never be his, but as he found out she felt the same way as he did. Even she knew who you father was she loved him. I am disappointed that you can't see that my daughter only has her eyes for you and now she is in her aunts arm crying because of you. I must say son I didn't think that you would do this. But I guess I was wrong, I hope maybe you can see what you have done and before taking accusations you can let people explain. For now I think you have to let my daughter be. And maybe sort this out later, as you have made her really sad". "I am so sorry mr Mikaelson and you are right I shouldn't have let my thoughts control me. I see that you want me to let your daughter be for a while. But please tell her I'm sorry and t-to tell her I-I love her. And I just want her to be happy." "I will Max. Now i think it's time you hang up and leave New Orleans to take care of the business you have". "I will and mr Mikaelason you may hate me or something. But I do, I really love your daughter so much. Even if I am not worthy of her I do". "I know Max and I don't hate you. And you are worthy of my daughter if you don't think you are. That is absurd. Now I must hang up. But I hope that someday you and my daughter can be together, since i know both of you love each other very much". "I hope so too mr Mikelason. But for now I will let her be. So bye". Then I hanged up.
