''yes I am'', Hope answered with a happy smile. I smiled back at her and took her in to a passionate kiss. ''really guys. Get a room''. We heard Landon say. I ignored him and still kissing Hope.

It went some seconds and Hope pulled apart. ''why did you do that?'', I asked her. She looked at me and replied ''well, we should focus on the party. The twins will be here in some minutes, and I don't think they would like to come in on us having a full out make out session''. ''ehm, yeah maybe your right. Still, you owe me one later and maybe without some clothes'', I said smirking. Hope looked at me and blushed. Damn I love it when I make her blush.

''you know I'm still here, right?'', Landon said. I looked up at him and said ''oh, yeah I forgot'', I said giving him a devilish smile. He rolled his eyes and said ''whatever. Like Hope said the Saltzman's will be here soon. So, let's get the rest of the things ready. Okay?''. ''yeah. Calm down'', I said.

Landon walked away to do the rest of the things. I looked at Hope and she had an expression on her ''what?'', I asked her. She sighed and answered ''you know, you are something for yourself Max''. ''I know, beautiful. However, that's what you love about me right?''. She looked at me and gave me a smile saying ''yep, I guess''. I looked at her asking ''you guess?''. She began to laugh and said ''relax handsome, I was kidding. I do''. I just looked into her beautiful eyes and smiling as I said ''good''.

30 minutes after

Now we have it ready for the party. People have come, the twins are a little late but they will get here in a couple of minutes.

I was sitting at the bar. I was going to order something with alcohol in it, but I decided to be sober today. ''what can I get you mr Salvatore, the usual?'', the bartender asked me. ''nope, not today Kris. Just give me a diet coke'', I said. ''sure, it'll be right up''.

After some minutes I got my coke. Now I was just sitting there thinking about life. As I thought about that I got a pat on my shoulder. I turned around and there was Josie. ''hey Jo'', I said. She took the seat next to me. ''hey Max, how are you doing?'', she asked. ''I'm doing good. Not even drinking'', I said as I took my drink up to show her. She looked at me and said ''good to hear Nick. I want to thank you for giving us another party, even if you didn't have to''. ''yeah no problem. Since the last one didn't go as planned. Figured I'd give you two a new one'', I said.

''thank you Max. Oh, and also congrats'', Josie said'' ''congrats? For what?'', I asked curiously. She smiled at me and said ''for you and Hope. It took you guys long enough''. ''thanks yeah it did, but it was worth the wait'', I said smiling and turned to where Hope was. Josie noticed that and said ''you love her very much, don't you?''.

I kept my eyes on Hope who was talking and laughing with Lizzie, then I replied with a smile ''yes I do''.
