"Sunday. Lunch." Jia says when Chan picks up.
"Huh?"
"This Sunday," Jia repeats. "Lunch. Me, you, your soulmate. And Felix, it would be nice to see him again."
"Wait," Chan says, "Sunday, yes, lunch, yes, but I have two soulmates, and Felix's soulmate lives in Seoul, too. Just – come to my apartment? Felix and I will make brownies."
"Chan-ah, are you happy with them?"
"Yeah. Changbin is great, you know, and Hyunjin... you'll like him."
"Then I'll look forward to meeting them."
"I'm actually with them right now," Chan says. "So, uh –"
Jia laughs. "Did I interrupt something?"
"No, noona, it's fine –"
"I'll let you go back to them," Jia says. "Still, I want to talk to you more often. There's a lot... well. We'll see each other on Sunday, and we'll talk."
"Yeah. Okay."
"I love you, Chris," Jia says in English, her voice a bit deeper like it always is when she speaks English, tone more serious the way only a mother tongue can be.
"I love you too, Jia," he answers in English. "I really think you'll love my soulmates, too."
"They mean a lot to you, don't they? I'm glad."
