Arjun's chariot entered the gates of the palace. It was already evening. During their journey, Subhadra was going through a ride of emotions...Whom to blame? Whom to trust? Should she be scared...but deep down she knew it wasn't Arjun's fault. It was her father who had broken the laws of Aryavart by planning against an ally. Somewhere she was also happy that she didn't have to get married to Duryodhana. Arjun got down from his chariot and gave his hand towards Subhadra. She took his hand and carefully came down. At the entrance she was greeted by Nalini, the house lady 'Hail Rajkumari of Maurya! We have heard great tales about ur beauty but they all seem to be less versed. U r truly the example of etheral beauty. U match righteously to the valour of King Arjuna'. Hearing all of this, Subhadra just smiled. Arjun ordered Nalini to take Subhadra to the Kamal Mahal. Nalini swiftly took Subhadra through the passages. Arjun went to the study and ordered Sanjaya to prepare a team of secret army to keep a check on Maurya. Arjun sat on a couch and thought about Subhadra. He was extremely happy. He had found the women of his dreams. He was sure that he was in love with her. He ordered a dasi to call Nalini immediately. Meanwhile walking through the passage way, Subhadra enquired 'Nalini! Wat is the Kamal Mahal?'.Seeing her expression and introspection , Nalini understood that she was terrified. Nalini calmed her down and said ' Rajkumari Subhadra u have absolutely no reason to be terrified. The Kamal Mahal is the prettiest room in the whole palace. Today when I looked into Arjun's eyes I could see pure love towards u. He is a great man . U r going to be the happiest of all. He is going to make u not only the queen of his kingdom but also of his heart' Subhadra listened to Nalini with rapt attention. She too knew that somewhere she too liked Arjun. His touch sent electrifying shivers in her body. They soon reached the entry of the Kamal Mahal. Nalini took her in and Subhadra was shocked to see the sight in front of her. It seemed nothing less than heaven to her. The item which attracted her the most was the huge golden king size bed which was placed on a golden lotus flower. The room had a fragrance in its air of blue lotus. The balcony had a beautiful white fountain. The windows had thick silk curtains in white. The couch in which she was sitting was also in the shape of a lotus. Nalini spoke 'Is'nt it pretty Rajkumari? This is supposed to be the room of the King and the Queen'. Subhadra was lost in admiring the marvellous sight in front of her. Her gaze was disrupted when a dasi entered and stated that king desired Nalini's presence in his study immediately. Nalini went and Subhadra moved towards the balcony, she was admiring the pretty garden view in front of her when she heard Nalini calling her. She went out and found her placing a huge thaal in the table. Nalini said' Rajkumari! I was absolutely right, Maharaj Arjun is in love with you. He asked u to get ready for the wedding. Plz hurry up it's going to be held within an hour!'. Hearing this Subhadra stumbled , she was shocked, it had not even been a day she met him but is soon going to be married. Nalini took Subhadra to the dressing table and adorned her in the beautiful red lehenga which had detailed work with gold. Nalini carefully placed the jewellery in her body parts as Arjun had ordered her to be as soft as a feather. Her hair was tied in a bun and dressed with roses. When she looked at the mirror , she was stunned herself. Yes, she was actually looking pretty. She was in deep thought about the actions of destiny when they heard the dasi state ' Hail Rajkumari! Pandit ji requires ur presence in the mandap' . Subhadra nods and looks at the mirror once again and says to herself 'Its ur destiny and u need to accept it. Be brave and believe in mahadev' Saying this she turned towards Nalini and asked her to accompany her to the mandap.
