After Arjuna was done with breakfast, he looked at his wife who was waiting eagerly for a comment. He just got up and went out of the dinning hall leaving a disheartened and sad Subhadra behind. She was just about to weep when she felt arms wrapped around her waist. She turned back and saw Arjuna standing with a golden box. He smiled at her, wiped her tears and said 'Priye! I haven't tasted anything better in my life before. I was worried that u would get exhausted by cooking all by yourself but I think u have to cook for me everyday now'. Subhadra chuckled to which Arjun slightly pecked her cheeks and gave her the golden box. When Subhadra opened it, she was more than delighted. It had a pair of beautiful anklets. Arjun said 'This is a gift for u love...I want u to wear this forever and never take them off...this is to give me a hint when u r near me'. Subhadra blushed and Arjun bowed down to make her wear the anklets when she said ' Arya! What are u doing? U r my husband! How can u touch my feet?' Arjun looked up to her  and said ' I am ur lover first and then ur husband'. Subhadra's eyes glistened with tears. Arjun got confused and asked her 'Did I do or say something wrong? If yes then I m sorry' , Subhadra suddenly places her hand on his lips and says ' Don't say like this Arya! U can't even imagine how happy I am. U r the best gift in my life...I ... I... love'. She was supposed to complete her sentence when Varsha entered and they got separated in a jiffy. 'Yes Varsha? U need anything?'. 'No Maharani! I was just looking for u ! Did I disturb u ?'. Subhadra nodded a no and Varsha said that a man from Singhal  had brought some pearl necklaces asking if anyone wants to purchase it. Subhadra jumped with excitement and looked at Arjun with puppy eyes and said ' Arya! Can I get at least one? I love pearls'. Arjun smirked and said ' And I love u...' , he took her hands in his and went to the merchant from Singhal. The merchant greeted Arjun and Arjun said ' I will purchase all the pearls jewelleries, but I can bet that they aren't prettier than my wife! Tell me the price' , the merchant was very happy at recieving one thousand gold coins and then left. Arjun turned towards Subhadra and saw her almost jumping with delight after her husband purchased all the jewelleries for her. He smiled at her amusement and went near her ears and whispered softly ' I am the king priye. I made u happy now it's ur turn. I will take the payment from u tonight...with interest .... And who knows I might hike the price' saying this he headed towards the Sabha for the afternoon session leaving behind a blushing, happy and shy Subhadra.❤️
