Subhadra was busy dusting the library when suddenly she felt a finger carving patterns on her back. She smiled knowing who it was and shrugged when it tickled. She turned and her blue jewel eyes met with the hazel ones. A smile appeared on her face.

Arjun stepped towards her and trapped her between the book shelf and his manly arms.

Subhadra's breathing started to grow heavy when she glanced at the desire in Arjun's eyes.

Arjun snaked his arms on her silky waist and pulled her towards him. Subhadra collided on his chest and kissed it gently. That was more than enough to trigger Arjun's desires as he smashed his lips on hers. Subhadra led out a moan and pleasure took over her.

Arjun broke the kiss as he realised that Subhadra was out of her breath.
Arjun tucked a strand of her curls behind her ear and kissed her forehead gently.

Arjun looked in disbelief wondering over that fact,what had made the almighty gift him with a nymph like her. He was lost in his own thoughts when Subhadra spoke....

Subhadra- Arya! What are u doing here? I didn't expect u at this hour. I thought you were in a meeting.

Arjun- I was! But my eyes demanded a look of the most precious jewel in my kingdom. I went to the room and didn't find u there...after I enquired, Varsha told me that u were in the library....oh yes!!!! Now coming to the point. Wat on earth is my queen doing here with a duster in her hand?

Subhadra- Arya! If I have a duster in my hand.. then obviously I m dusting...
Saying this she started laughing....

Arjun- Love! I am aware of that...wat I meant was , why r u doing it?
I have around 300 dasis in the palace just to serve u. And not only dasis...the king himself is available to serve u.

Subhadra- oh Arya! When will u stop saying that! And besides it's my home and my duty to take care of it. And I don't have anything to do! I am tired of playing chausar, reading, roaming in the gardens and trying on a trillion jewellery.

Arjun- Who can possibly win from u?

Saying this both of them started laughing when all of a sudden a dasi entered. She informed them that Mahamantri Vidura had arrived from Hastinapur bearing an invitation and desires to meet the king and queen.

Arjun holds Subhadra's hands and leads her towards the sabha.

'Pranipat Maharaj! Pranipat Maharani!', Vidura bows down to Arjun and Subhadra.

Arjun- Pranipat , wat brings u here?

Vidura- Hastinapur Naresh Dhridarashta holds a keen interest on inviting u to Hastinapur to welcome the newly wedded couple for the Ashthami Pooja.

Arjun wonders over the reason as to why does his uncle invites him out of the blue moon. He was lost in perplexity when he glanced at his wife gawking at him with request to accept the invitation. He knew that she was getting bored and was somewhat feeling a lot suffocated as he had imposed harsh rules on her movement out of the palace. But only he knew that loosing her would be worse than death to him. He knew that her etheral beauty served both as a blessing and a curse.

Arjun- We would be honored! I will arrive there a day or two before the Ashthami Pooja.

Subhadra's face glowed with bliss....✉️
