Sneaking Out 🌼

Subhadra woke up at the break of dawn only to find her Arya missing. She got up from the bed and wrapped the sheets around her body when she recalled the moments from the previous night. She started looking in the whole room but couldn't find a trace of him. She grew a bit tense and called for Varsha. 'Hail! Maharani, good morning. How may I assist u?'. Subhadra somewhat felt a lil bad for Varsha as she was yawning considering the fact that a prahar was still left for morning. Subhadra asked Varsha about Arjun's whereabouts to which Varsha replied that he had gone with Sanjaya to attend an important and unavoidable meeting. Varsha also informed her that Arjun had specifically asked her to not disturb Subhadra. Subhadra sighed with relief and decided to take a warm bath. Varsha accompanied her to the snangraha and got her dressed up in a teak coloured saree and the pearl jewellery. Subhadra blushed when she remembered how her husband had brought nearly a hundred pieces of pearl jewellery only for her. Varsha said 'Maharani, I have dressed u up but may I ask u so early?', Subhadra smiled and said ' Actually I want to sneak out of the palace! But plz don't say anyone and especially not to Arya because I know how worried he could be.' Varsha perplexed asked her where she would want to go? Subhadra replied that she would just visit the nearby pond she saw while her journey to Indraprastha. She further said that she would love to collect those lotus flowers. Varsha said 'Fine Maharani, but plz I insist u to take along at least one soldier with u. If Maharaj comes to know about it , he is going to me!' Subhadra chuckled and said ' Don't worry... I'll be back in no time. As I got up so early I have nothing to do, even Arya is not here. I'll go, collect some flowers and return asap!' , Varsha sighed in the acceptance of her defeat and said ' U win, I loose. But plz be careful and come back soon'. Subhadra smiled at Varsha and carefully sneaked out of the palace without anyone noticing her.
